Removing the empty page from the page layout (see above-Cwilkins) helped me to get rid of the blank pages.

I copy a normal one row table that I use for Notes, etc.

Sometimes it inserts a number beside the table.

If you rename the folder from within Flare, it will ask if you want to update all links. Select "Yes" at that prompt and it should take care of everything for you. If you renamed the folder outside of Flare or chose not to update the links, then everything will still point to the old fold...

When I set up a mapping does the left box HAVE to start with Content? Originally on my PC I had Content as the same level as Project, Output etc. I put all my Flare files in Content but now it tries to create a Content folder UNDER Content.

The proposed solution did not work but I went into Task Manager and ended the highlighted task and it works multiple times! This is in Adobe Acrobat DX. Not sure if the task is the same for different versions but you can check Task Manager to see what is running on YOUR version.

I will give it a try! I found when I have the issue it is not necessary to reboot. I just sign out of Windows. Of course I still have to close any open apps.

It would be a real time saver if when displaying the TOC to be able to expand all of the books without having to click on each one.

I created a macro that makes sure a table is 100% on a page not a fixed pixel count that was hard coded.

When I use playback it works fine; when I assigned a keyboard shortcut to it, it screws up the table or does nothing.

I would say the answer's not out there because "it depends" on which of the madcap features you plan to use and which type of targets you are creating. The topics themselves are just xml files and will be read by an older version of Flare just as much as a new one, but you might find your...

How to add bookmark from a topic into TOC?

I have a topic with a H4 tag. It has 0 for above and below settings. In the Flare Preview it looks fine. I think users know by now that they can click on a hyperlink to navigate to another location. But how do you tell them to click on a thumbnail to see the large version of a photo or video? Can you add some "autonumber" text in an image.thumbnail style to tell them so?

I have a header that when displayed is about 3 inches high! There are ten topics and spaced pretty far apart vertically. One is a book.

I want to generate a PDF of all the topics. How do I set up the PDF target to include all of the topic files in the project. There are about 136 HTML topic files.
