Re: ActiveX Objects in Vulnerability Scans
Related to this topic, my engineering team is reluctant to bundle Flare output (HTML) into their software deployments. They see JavaScript files and don't want to proceed without understanding the actions of the scripts in more detail. How does MadCap respond to such security concerns?

Re: Understanding hyperlinks vs. cross references
[Flare v11]
In my project, Analyzer recommends changing hyperlinks to cross-references. I wonder why this recommendation is made? is there a performance reason? [Yes, I understand the differences/advantages of the two techniques... but why should Analyzer care?]

Re: Runtime performance of relationship tables
We continue to see this performance problem. Has anyone else experienced delays after implementing relationship tables?
It is specific to Chrome browser. The delays do not occur on Firefox. We haven't tested other browsers.

Runtime performance of relationship tables
Is there a runtime impact to relationship tables? For example, does Flare resolve proxy links at runtime?
After implementing a relationship table, we notice runtime delays after clicking links in browser output:
The output resides locally. There is no network.
Clicking a link (in the ...

Re: Using conditions in Relationship Tables
Thank you, Paul Griffiths.
My mistake. I double checked and confirmed you are correct. It works. There is no change in this behavior from v11 to v12.
The rule is this: in target output, the relationship proxy ignores topics that are excluded from the build.

Using conditions in Relationship Tables
Can someone suggest a useful scenario for applying conditions to topics in a Relationship table.
When learning about relationship tables, I incorrectly assumed the output would ignore topics that are excluded from the build. For example, the proxy normally shows Related topics ONE, TWO, THREE but ...

Flare v11 users working in Flare v12 projects
My team is shifting from v11 to v12 one desktop at a time.
Can a Flare11 user can work in a Flare12 project?
Are there things that can/cannot be done?
Will things break?
