Hi all,
is there a Whislist topic in this forum? I would like to discuss some missing features.
I would like to have meta information for topics such as keywords, creator/owner, relase date, approval date, etc.
Perhaps a history which lists the conducted changes to a topic?
The desciption field ...

Re: Flare 12 64 Bit version Slow?
Now, with the 2016-R2 release there apparently was a slight performance enhancment and now, for me the software seems to run as fast as the former version 11.
Before that with the early version 12 (64 bit) the switching between ribbons took seconds and when entering a text it was displayed on the ...

Re: Auto numbering in stylesheet
Hi Nita,
thanks for your answer. I understood that what is set in the default stylesheet is automatically transfered to the print medium stylesheet. I displayed them next to each other (Flare12) and compared the settings. Everything is equal. For the PDF settings, I have not set up anything ...

Re: Auto numbering in stylesheet
Hello,
important for all that are using auto numbering functions in Flare: it seems that all heading level is moved one step when it comes to PDF output except for the h1 level.
Which means a h1 topic which is linked to a book in TOC - remains a h1 in PDF output.
Another topic with h1 is shifted to ...

Re: Auto numbering in stylesheet
What have you got for Heading 3? I'm guessing the problem might be in there.
Hi,
heading h3 follows the same syntax.

Re: Auto numbering in stylesheet
Hello,
again the same issue with a new document.
This is what the numbering looks like in the Flare topic
1 Safety Guidelines (heading level 1 - H1)
1. Heading level 2 - H2
2. Heading level 2 - H2
2.1 Heading level 3 - H3
2.2 Heading level 3 - H3

Re: Auto numbering in stylesheet
What you describe sounds like the expected behavior when "Use TOC depth" has been selected in the PDF target, on the Advanced tab. If you don't want Flare to adjust heading levels based on where topics are located in the TOC associated with the target, clear that check box.

Auto numbering in stylesheet
Hello,
well, I thought I understood the principle of auto-numbering but now I am getting frustrated.
I have a traditional numbering for H1... H4 in the syntax of
CH:Chapter {chapnum} for H1 to...
CH:{chapnum}.{n}.{n}.{n+} H4
Everything works fine within the Flare document. When it comes to PDF ...

General settings
Hi there,
is it possible in Flare to set up general (program-wide) settings? For example I do not want to change the dimension setting from px to cm all the time.
Is there a menu where such general settings can be set?
Any ideas?
Thanks
Kai
