I'm evaluating whether I should switch from Captivate to Mimic. My company is in the process of adopting Flare.
I've been a Captivate user for 5+ years. I've been using Mimic for just a couple of weeks.
Do you like Mimic?

callouts generated automatically have extra characters
I'm running Mimic 8.0 and automatically creating callouts as I record screen shots. Many of my automatic callouts have the & symbol included Click "&Ok" click.jpg
I assume that is coming from the software I'm recording so I can't do anything about that. Is there a way I can have Mimic ignore it ...

I'm transitioning from Captivate to Mimic as well. I think. Mimic is lacking some features I've come to rely on in Captivate so I'm not convinced yet that it is going to be my tool of choice.
From what I can tell, you cannot "transition" objects in Mimic, just frames.
