Actually it is a touchpad on an Adesso-tru-form-4500-2-4ghz-wireless-ergonomic-touchpad-keyboard. It uses standard Windows drivers. Since I posted this topic it seems the black screen problem has diminished but not gone away completely. Unsatisfactory answer I know. I am still casually monitoring it.

Flare goes black; sometimes it recovers, sometimes it doesn't. Have you experienced this?

For years, multiple releases, and environments, I have experienced this.
It isn't release or environment dependent.
Am I alone?
TIA for any sympathy or suggestions for a fix.

2023 update, black screens are still happening. Is there a bug number for long standing bug? It seems to happen when I have a lot of file changes done at the same time.

My message pane is at the bottom but it takes the focus off the pane I am working in whenever there is a message.
Is there a way to stop it from changing the focus or hiding the messages?

Flare 2019's "Select the conditional expression for viewing this topic in the XML editor" feature let's you hide or view conditions individually now.
