Re: Replacing existing topics when importing markdown

Thanks so much for your response.

What I find is, if I select a file to override, MadCap automatically creates new files (with _<n> suffixes) in place of the files I didn't select. If I select all files instead, MadCap reimports everything and replaces all the files regardless of whether they've ...

Replacing existing topics when importing markdown

Hi there, I'm wondering if anyone has come across this scenario and what your workflow looks like:

I have a set of markdown files that each have a counterpart .htm topic in my Flare project. From what I can tell, importing these into Flare initially will create a separate set of .htm files rather ...

"Restrict editing" in PDF target doesn't result in "None"

Hi,

If I select the "Restrict editing" option in my PDF target, the Permissions in the generated PDFs are set to "Changes Allowed: Filling in form fields and signing existing signature fields". I need this to be set to "None" instead.
For now, I'm changing it manually for each generated PDF, but ...

Re: Formatting equations in 2018 (Flare 14)

Hi, me again ... It looks like it's possible to control the font using the matvariant attribute: R.

But is there a better way? Specifically, is there a .css driven way of achieving the same result?

Any help/tips greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Elsa

Re: Formatting equations in 2018 (Flare 14)

Hello ... you haven't been able to figure out changing fonts by any chance?

Would be great to know how if it's possible.

Thanks,

How to match the file path in Alias.flali with Alias.xml

Hi,

Wondering if there is a way to ensure that the path specified in the Alias.flali I created matched the path ultimately referenced in the generated Alias.xml?

At the moment, in my generated Alias.xml, the top "/Content" folder is excluded from the path. Unfortunately, I need the exact path ...

Pointing Server-based Output to a specified port

Hi,

I'm wondering if someone might have run into this. For Flare server-based output, we need the ability to manually specify a server port, other than the port the Flare web service uses by default. This is due to a conflict between the web app we are using to render the output and service.asmx ...
