And in the meantime I solved my problem, the fact is that I had the checkbox : "Generate PDF for MS word output" checked, in the primary target >Advanced.
It's now working like a charm.

Hi, I'm still new to flare and i need your help in order to organize my PDF output.

What I want to do is , to be able to decide where a certain chapter(topic) must start in my output. Either on a left or on the right page.

What I have : Page layout, with various type, First right, left, right and ...

that was exactly that, h3 and h4 mc heading levels were set to 0
now it works just fine !

MadCapFlare is so complex, thank you all for your answers.

yes, the text appears in body of the PDF
these two headings do not appear in the pdf's TOC
And they do not appear in the bookmark either

i tried to turn off 'use TOC depth for heading levels'
