Re: Hyphenation only at first possible place
Hello Marc, As there's obviously no answer here yet, I wonder if you have gotten a feedback or an idea via another channel? I'm struggling with Flare's hyphenation in general. Your mentioned issue is only one (default hyphenation rules are often wrong, Flare's Hyphenation Rule Editor does not work a...

Re: Conditional Linking of Stylesheets
Hello Agnieszka, hello Dave! I think an easier way to do this will be to use the CSS :lang() pseudo class. Thank you! That's much easier and more elegant then trying to do something with a script. And it worked :) Could it be that this only works with specific target types? I'm using a PDF target an...

Re: PDF font type support (otf) - I'm confused
I installed Adobe Acrobat Pro DC at the beginning of September, and it just isn't coming out right... So you have actually installed the latest update 19.012.20040? If not, you can download the update package and install it manually: ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/acrobat/win/AcrobatDC/1901220040/Ac...

Re: PDF font type support (otf) - I'm confused
SO does this mean our outputs wont look as we need them to until Adobe fixes this bug???? Adobe has already fixed the bug on August 22nd. So if you update your Adobe Acrobat Reader or Acrobat installation, you should be fine. I'm reluctant to change what's working for me (the downgrade to previous ...

Re: How to control widows and orphans in PDF output?
Thank you, both, for your feedback.
I have the ambition to dig into it, however these days I must finish some projects first. I will report here as soon as I have news about this issue (may take some weeks).

Re: How to control widows and orphans in PDF output?
Hello KCinColorado,
Have you ever had the chance to get a resolution for this issue? Almost 4 years later, I am struggling with the same problem (MadCap Flare 2017 r3).
Thanks for any feedback

Re: Simple style elements don't work in PDF output
Just for you Information: The workaround at the moment is to insert a character in the same color as the background in front and behind the given text. @media print { span.Keyboard::before, span.Keyboard::after { border: inherit; border-radius: inherit; background-color: inherit; color: #fffdf7; con...

Simple style elements don't work in PDF output
Hi! I have a simple span style to show letters or even words in keyboard design. I use a single CSS for all outputs. Each style is used in common ( Medium: (default) ). Oh, and: Flare 2017 r3. span.Keyboard { border: solid 1px #dcdcdc; border-radius: 4px; background-color: #fffdf7; padding: 1px 3px;...
