Re: Improving an MT with a TM

Hi Uwe,

I double-checked with Madcap support:

Hello Michelle,
Thank you for contacting Madcap Software Technical Support.
Unfortunately there is no way to make Google MT learn from your TM. The following steps should be adequate for your desired effect.
1. Begin the process of creating a project ...

Improving an MT with a TM

Hi all,

Is it possible to improve the Machine Translation by making it use Translation Memory as reference? My project is quite technical and the MT often uses the general meaning of the word, rather than the specific technical use i need.

Many thanks for your help in advance,

Michelle

Alpha value 0.2 - how to edit?

Hi all,

Does anyone know how to edit the styles highlighted in red in the attached screenshot? The alpha value is light grey creating a dark box around the 'Contents' tab. When i run the rgba through a hex converter, i get #00000 so it seems to be creating some sort of transparent black. All ...

Re: Table inside div has different margins to table outside

Hi,

Styling the <tr> should fix this.

Highlight the <tr> tag, right-click and go to 'edit class'. On the Block options, set text-align to 'left'. Save and hopefully, that'll do it. If you only want that one table left aligned, it'll be worth creating a new class for it and then styling it left ...

Tables to divs?

I'm working with content created in Flare 11. It is structured with tables, which functions similarly HTML and PDF. I'm now working on 2017 r2. The ideal result is a responsive layout in HTML and also output to PDF with minimal adjustment to the css. An equally good result would be to ...

Re: No tickboxes on to set condition?

Hi both,

Many thanks for the help. I was trying to change the condition on a <p> within a normal page.htm. I opened the same project again the morning, went to change the same condition again and the tickboxes were there. Wish i'd taken a screenshot at the time!

Kind regards,

Michelle

Re: 2017r2 - update or not?

I'm finding the responsive layout options frequently cause 2017r2 to stutter, black screen or just crash. Anyone else?

How to move the menu proxy

Hi,

I'm trying to move the menu proxy to the left of the screen in HTML5 output. It's the menu shown with a red box around it in the attached shot. I think it's styled by the SideMenu skin but this doesn't seem to have an option to style its location.
Any help will be gratefully received!
