I figured out a workaround and wrote an article about it on LinkedIn, so you too can have canonical links in your topic pages until MadCap integrates it in Flare.

Please add one more system variable

Goal: I am trying to add a canonical tag in the <head> section.
The canonical tag looks like this: <link rel="canonical" href="https://www.ourdomain.com/folder/currentpage.htm" /> but it gets stripped in the build.

So far i've tried:

-- Adding it with Javascript => does not get parsed by search ...

I'm new to the forum but have been working on a really nice MadCap Flare integration for the past year.
