Re: Translate only marked strings
Hi Dafra08, Thanks for the answer! I like your idea. We actually considered putting our strings in a variable set. Theoretically it makes sense, though it's hard to implement in practice... We have a database of UI strings that we could (relatively) easily convert to a Flare variable set. However......

FLALI files for CSH always uses NEW as a prefix
I want to use CSH, and use DOC as a prefix. For example: http://www.mycompany.com/docs/default#cshid=DOC0001.
I generate identifiers and specify DOC as the prefix, but Flare always starts with NEW (see attached screenshot).
Is this a bug or am I missing something?

Re: Add new drop-down button to the topic toolbar
I can add regular buttons in the topic toolbar (the Setup tab page of the TopicToolbar). Screenshot 2019-01-08 at 19.42.52.png In the Styles tab page, I can change the style and event of those buttons. But I don't see how I can add a 'drop-down button'. There are only the out-of the-box drop-down bu...

Re: Add new drop-down button to the topic toolbar
Hi Scotty,
I attach a faked image of what I want: a drop-down field in my topic toolbar, with N values (buttons). Each button would then trigger a JavaScript.

Add new drop-down button to the topic toolbar
I want to add a drop-down button to the topic toolbar of my HTML5 TopNav skin. Essentially, I want something similar to the language drop-down. The language drop-down changes the URL, e.g. www.example.com/en/topic.htm becomes www.example.com/fr/topic.htm . I want a button with a drop-down with three...

Translate only marked strings
We're just starting to translate our software package and user manuals. The software itself is already translated into French. Before translating the whole 500 page manual into French, we would like to publish a user guide in English, but with references to the French software strings instead of the...

Glossaries (and a little bit of CSH)
We're generating a glossary for a Flare project from an external source (a terminology management tool). This actually works quite well because the XML structure is easy enough. However, we do stumble on some limitations in Flare, or so we think... Is it possible to use two Glossaries, one used for ...

Ignore heading in TOC + TOC depth for heading levels
We have a problem with the heading levels of headings that we exclude from the TOC. For our task topics, we use a fixed structure: H1: Do something p: <description of the task> H2: Steps ol: <the steps> H2: What's next ol: <whatever is next> For our PDF target, we select 'Use TOC depth for heading l...
