Hi -
I am now trying use script from tag manager and trying to follow this thread. But it seems to be referencing only part of what I have been told to do. Has anybody had to use both of these bits of code?
My marketing department told me to put code generated by google tag manager into two places ...

Is the code in this thread used with SideNav or TopNav outputs?
Here's the code I am referring to:

<script async="" src="https://www.googletagmanager.com/gtag/js?id=UA-xxxxxxxxx-x"></script>
<script>

Re: Caching issue with WebHelp
We are constantly struggling with this. Adding the no-cache rule into the metadata does not help. We have been back and forth for years.

Re: Changing bullet color
This looks promising. The numbered list items work out great.
For unordered list where you've put the following under ul > li::marker:
content: '•';
Do you then need to use a custom bullet image?
Thanks,
daphna

SideNav Skin Customization Recommendations
We are looking to find a contractor to provide some customization of a SideNav skin. It is a lot of red tape to hire somebody in our company, even as a short-term contractor. We are hoping to be able to find a resource connected with one of our existing vendors. I have an idea of what needs to be ...

SideNav and Footers
We are looking at migrating to sidenav from tripane. Our starting point will probably be the Cardiff template. On this template and others, the footer from the Master page scans across the width of the screen for the home page, but not in the content pages where is a SideNav. MadCap support says it ...

Re: Auto numbered rows in table
Hi - Your method looks promising! I am wondering, though, how you applied it. I added the style in my .css. I then added a table to a topic, but cannot find the style in the style picker. I tried putting a hard return into the cell in the table where I want to use the style, but it still did not ...

I'm just getting started so help would be much appreciated.

Re: Google Analytics Events and Tracking User-Entered Search
When I add the searchbarproxy to the search.htm topic, it adds the following code into the body section: <MadCap:searchBarProxy />
I don't see that in the code sample in this thread. Just confirming that both the code sample in this thread and " <MadCap:searchBarProxy />' should be in the body ...

We have the help embedded, but the Window Caption on the .NET help viewer, which identifies MadCap, cannot be changed.

Re: Customizing the .Net viewer...
We really need to be able to get rid of the MadCap logos, etc. The powers that be are giving me a lot of pressure on this and we'll probably have to move to WebHelp, which will be a pain on the development side as they've already set everything up for .NET.

Re: Refuelling 'Airplane Help’ ?
Three cheers! I asked abouat this a while back. The madcap folks told me they hadn't heard any users mention or ask for this in a long time, but told me that they would enter an enhancement request. They were not sounding hopeful that it would be implemented. :( My product managers and developers ...

Re: X-Edit setup could be improved for reviewers
I will eagerly await a patch as I think X-Edit is too confusing for reviewers and complicates, rather than eases, workflow. For the meantime, we will not be using X-X-Edit Review.

This depends on the Perforce installation. There is a special component of the installation that enables the integration. Speak to your Perforce administrator.

Re: How to insert Math equations and formulas
We are having success with the HTML output from Doxygen; the links to images (.png files) get updated when we bring all the topics and images into the Flare proejct. Without round-tripping, however, we are going to have to do a lot of tweaking whenever there is a change in the Doxygen output. That's ...

Does anybody know the working definition of "Recen," as in "Insert Recent?" For example, when inserting something like a snippet or an image, I have an option of selecting from recently opened or inserted. Is there a working definition for the period of time that defines recent?

Yes! The number of images I would have to maintain would go down substantially.
