Does anyone have a solution to this issue? I am running into it as well, and have a ticket with MadCap Flare and my company's IT.

Re: Numbered list across table rows
ChoccieMuffin to the rescue!
It seems to be working perfectly in my tables.
I came from FrameMaker years ago with those p autonumber classes and have always keep the autonumber p class around for cross-references to steps.

Thanks so much you two! I might have figured it out over time but what a helpful thing this forum can be! My exact snag of the moment.

Re: How to use Menu Proxy to show in-topic TOC?
Did anyone get an answer for this? The online help for Madcap flare shows this feature and I am about to ask them to tell me how to do it, but if you guys already know, I'd love to hear it!

Re: Shared directory as output destination
Thanks all. I will see where I can go with this. Syncing would have been perfect for me and for user access to files but the concern on the part of some was that it would expose the rest of our files to security risks. I will see where I get with the Google Drive file stream suggestion. Thank you.

Re: Keeping track of review status
Choccie Muffin,
Have you come up with a solution? I would like a report of just those topics with a custom last reviewed date or completed status. Reviewing even a few hundreds of topics in a list is even too onerous

Re: Flare can't send Contributor pkgs by email
Is there any better solution to this problem? I am using the work around, to just email the review package to a contributor user. The problem I am now experiencing is that I get no error message when I import, but the import package is not visible in the review packages window. When I re-import, I g...

Re: RESOLVED: Flare 2017: New Preview feature weirdness?
I am running 2018 r2 and using Adobe Reader created hidden pdfs that I couldn't open. I had to create an email, attach the pdf to an email in order to open it. And of course preview didn't work. I downloaded the latest adobe etc etc. I am now using Foxit, and so far, it has solved it. Thank you to y...

Re: Unwanted blank pages in PDF output
I am having the same problem, perhaps, with the toc properties not applying when I use the toc gui. I have looked at grid view, and can see that the properties I have applied in tree view using the gui editor are not applied. In particular, the auto-end disabled. Page type seems to be a real issue a...

Re: Publish failed: Cannot open data connection. (code=425)
After the latest 2018 update, Flare perceived the mapped directories differently. What had worked before didn't work now. Also, Flare doesn't allow me to map to directories that aren't local. I kept typing in different variations of the directories and finally got one that worked. originally I was p...

Re: Publish failed: Cannot open data connection. (code=425)
Pamela, did you ever get a resolution for this error? Coincidentally after an update, I can't publish, failing with 140006: Could not find a part of the path. I have permissions for the directories, checked this, and tried destinations out in a dummy project. In addition, Flare does not see all the ...
