To anyone else that encounters this issue I found that the only way of getting around the error message and able to save is to edit the variable xml file and change it manually as opposed to via the variable set editor.

Trying to change a variable within my VariableSetEditor and an error appears.
Here's the log from the error:

Delinking ms import document
Hi all,
Just imported an MS Doc Import file into a fresh project i'm working on and was wondering if there's anyway of de-linking my topics from the original imported word file I used for the import. See attachment for clarity on the Dialogue box i'm talking about.
