"Was this topic helpful?" query

Hi all,
Is it possible to set a "Was this topic helpful?" (Yes / No) query to a Flare Help project? Or a user feedback form?
If so, how?

Table stylesheet ignoring it's settings

Hi all, I have two table styles, similar to each other. In both of them I want there to be no separator between the columns. Table style #1 has banded rows, Table style #2 has banded columns. That's the only difference between them. Problem is, in Table style #1 all Column 1's have a separator on th...

Re: Topic with two columns - possible?

Thanks SKamprowski, I was hoping to avoid the need to add a table to a whole bunch of topics, but it seems the only option.

Topic with two columns - possible?

I'm transferring my company's API documentation to Flare, and I want to have topics with explanations on the left half of the topic and code samples on the right (in code snippets).
Is that even possible? If so, how?

Random text in callouts

Hi all, I need to insert callouts with text to images in Capture. What I want is something like this: Capture1.png What I get is this: Capture2.png This happens with every container with text (callouts, bubbles, text boxes...), every time I press F2. Every time I need to select all (CTRL+A), retype ...

Two columns in Tripane skin

Hi all,
Is it possible to divide the content panel of a tripane skin into two columns? I'm transferring our API documentation to Flare (2019 r2) and I want to have an explanation column on the left with code samples on the right.

Re: Capture Text Rectangle Issues

Ok, I found a solution.
The 'Auto-size caption object to fit text' option was checked in the target (in the Advanced tab). That option automatically resizes, reshapes and moves any text containers in images at random.
I turned it off and presto! Everything works!

Capture Text Rectangle Issues

Hi all, I have several images with text rectangles and bubbles with text. When I insert the image in a Flare topic it looks great, but when I generate the project the size and location of the rectangles and bubbles is completely random! Well, not completely - it is never where I want it. Is there an...

Re: Glossary style issue

Hi Dave, There was no "Navigation Panel Item Definition" there, just a few other Navigation Panel Items, so I added one (copied the "Navigation Panel Item (hover)" and edited it) I had a few problems initially, it didn't seem to work but that turned out to be a result of the sour...

Glossary style issue

Hi all, I have a Help system using the HTML5 Tripane Light skin. I can't find where to define the glossary text style. The glossary term looks good (right size, font & color) but the definition is all wrong; the text is a dull grey and difficult to read (especially on a dark background, which I ...

Re: Thumbnail behavior

Hi all,
I found the answer, quite by accident:
In the skin editor, in the Setup tab, change the Fixed Header dropdown from 'All' to 'Web'.
That's it! Works like a charm.

Thumbnail behavior

Hi all, I've created a Help system in Flare 2018. The output is an HTML5 side navigation skin. The Help contains multiple screenshots, so to avoid scrolling and to make it look a little sexier, I'm using thumbnails for the images. The result looks really good, just what I need, but when the reader c...
