I am importing from MS Word. I am familiar with creating Word Import Files and designating how new topics are created at the start of different styles.
My question is: Instead of new topics, is there a way of making an import file break into folders? I have several in mind and would hate to have to ...

Re: Keeping Styles When Sending to Word Target
Flare does not map directly to Word styles - as mentioned it uses h1_heading1 and so on.
We have a set of macros that we run in Word to do the conversion after export.
Can post the code if you like.
OK, I understand what you're saying. I guess retro fitting my styles will have to be the answer ...

Keeping Styles When Sending to Word Target
I was wondering how I keep my text styles when creating a Word target.
Specifically, I can start with a Word Doc, Import it to Mad Cap, and it keeps the style tags (Heading 1, Heading 2, etc...). But when I turn the Flare topics back into a Word document, it loses the style formatting.

Giving stylesheets a page layout.
Is there a way to format a stylesheet with a specific page layout. Specifically, making a stylesheet orientation landscape instead of portrait. I must be missing something but I looked around and searched the web and could find nothing on how to do this.
Thanks

Page Layouts in Stylesheets
Maybe I'm just missing something but I'm trying to do something that seems really basic. I want to modify my page layout in a stylesheet that turns the page orientation from portrait to landscape. Is there a way I can do this?

Cut and Paste formatting
This is not so much an IMPORTING question, but simply a CUT and PASTE issue. Is there anyway to paste text from work into Mad Cap and have the text keep it's source formatting?
