Re: Flare 2019

As @arthurdent stated above, the bookmark bug affected only bookmarks in tables (and probably only those in tripane outputs). The bug has been fixed with build 7081 which means I'll start using Flare 2019 now :D Good, as I was having some issues with my trial I thought were user error. I'll delete ...

Re: Very basic question about Swagger and Flare

/// Actual Script Nope, didn't help, but thank you for the suggestion. Also, linking information from existing HTML2 output in iFrames makes the content invulnerable to a basic search (not going to add a third party search integration if we don't need to), and my SME has cla...

Re: Very basic question about Swagger and Flare

Yeah, I've only used basic HTML and and am just getting into Flare doing this kind of work; I've mostly worked in places where the kinks were already worked out. I'll keep that in mind; and yeah, part of it will depend on how we decide to divvy up our API work to condition out public vs partner vs p...

Re: Very basic question about Swagger and Flare

So I switched attack methods, and linked the full HTML2 output to be referenced in an iFrame instead. I had to get some help from MadCap support to fix some bungling I did in the coding, but this rudimentary link got me going in the right direction:
<iframe src="file:///C:/Users/LB/Dox/Centr...

Re: Very basic question about Swagger and Flare

Okay, SO. MadCap Import HTML Files Wizard CLAIMS the problem with importing the file is "Invalid name character in '([^\s>]+)>' in line 61. But the problem actually is the code right before it: ?< Which you have to replace with ?< . Then it craps out after that on: ?<([\s\S]* but it only tells ...

Re: Very basic question about Swagger and Flare

I removed this script:

Code: Select all

 /**
 * marked - a markdown parser
 * Copyright (c) 2011-2014, Christopher Jeffrey. (MIT Licensed)
 * https://github.com/chjj/marked
 */
But that killed the language-switching functionality of the HTML2 output.

Re: Very basic question about Swagger and Flare

Kathy, I'm getting the same error, whether I import it from my desktop (after exporting from SwaggerHub) or from my GitHub local repository (one suggestion I found online was that GitHub was inserting characters). Honestly, I'm ready to go Slate or something at this point, rather than introduce Flar...

Hrmmm ... is this still an issue? Watching for an answer as that will be a blocker to implementation at my site.

Re: Is anyone using Flare and Contributor without Central?

Thanks, agracer. I'm always worried I'd miss something when companies say offline installs and online installs are "identical enough" ... not looking for anything fancy, so it sounds like the basic functionality you've got going will cover my needs as well.

Thanks!

Is anyone using Flare and Contributor without Central?

I'm trying to figure out my approach to integrate Flare into an environment that's relied heavily on Word for a number of years. I'm currently, and for the foreseeable future, the only author, using Flare. I'll be working with a rotating cast of SMEs (usually up to 5 at a time out of a pool of 100, ...
