Re: Azure DevOps Git repo credentials stored in Flare?

Hi Austin, would love a copy if you can - trying to convince my boss atm as we'll likely save about $25k from switching from our current source control :D

Elasticsearch in 2021

Hi guys, So our department is on an improvement kick again and huge attention is being focused on our Search results. Over a year ago we moved from the inbuilt MadCap Flare Search functionality to ZOOM Search Engine (primarily because Elasticsearch required a version of .NET that's old and unsupport...

Re: Opening all pages, that contains a special snippet

Sadly I don't think there's a way at the moment... tried multi selecting from Link Viewer > Linked From and it prevents it... would be a fantastic feature request!

Re: Linking To Snippets...

Thanks guys, @ChoccieMuffin - Yeah I was a little hung up on the unique bookmark thing as it's mentioned in the Flare manuals, but I've done it before without issue. @Dave - I think we'll be more comfortable with people having to manually add the Xref bookmark than potentially ending up with inconsi...

Linking To Snippets...

I'm hoping someone might have thoughts / strategies to handle the following set of requirements: We have large number of Policy paragraphs that are referenced in multiple places. These are styled as drop-downs We need to be able to link to them (either through bookmarks or some other way) We need th...

Re: Crosslinking to hidden DIVs on topic pages

I tried looking at the togglers, but it seems they're limited to either only showing or only hiding everything targeted - ie, can't simultaneously hide one section while then displaying another? Love to be corrected if I'm wrong as that would solve everything. Will keep trying to figure out / learn ...

Crosslinking to hidden DIVs on topic pages

Hoping someone might some suggestions to help me resolve this issue: The design of our support system means that Overview pages have multiple sub-sections with their own "tabs" used to display (and hide) content. 1) Javascript is used to determine the clicked tab and display/hide the relev...

Return to Previous Page Scroll Point

Hi guys, I'm stumped on this one so thought I'd try here. We have quite a number of work processes documented across linked topic files on long(ish) pages we call "Stage x" etc, within each topic there are links to granular system instructions that (ideally) a person completes and then cli...

Re: Adding images in SideNav menu

... I did a similar thing to our Flare project for better visual navigation in line with icon themes. Try adding the following to your main stylesheet and include some small 30 x 30 pixel icons for each Level 1 TOC entry. ul.sidenav > li.is-accordion-submenu-parent > a { padding-right: 0; min-width...

Reviewer Changes Not Being Tracked (at Review stage)

Hi all, My team of 15 - 20 have moved to Central and Flare 2019 last week (bold single step, I know...) and are preparing to start sending topics out for review by SME's. Today I ran a training session on Sending / Reviewing files and when practising the process a number of Authors encountered a sit...
