can't get minitoc styles to work
Hello, My minitoc (I'm only using one level) is coming out bold when I want it to be not bold. I was thinking of using 2 levels but I don't dare try to make it any more complex since I can't even get one level to work. My TOC level 1 is bold, but I do not want the minitoc to be bold, and it seems in...

Re: Not printing bottom frame content to PDF
Hi everybody, This problem seemed similar to mine so I am posting here. It is not quite the same, though, in that my footer text is not showing up in the editor, not just the output. I had even and odd footers set up using variables within a table. It was working fine and looked like this (attachmen...

Re: .svg files in Flare 12
I am on Flare 2019 r2 and if I hadn't researched the topic on this forum I would never have been able to use .svgs with Flare. Maybe the Help on that subject needs an update. (In fairness, it's not just a Flare problem-had similar issues in FrameMaker. Couldn't get .svgs to come in right, and no exp...

formatting codes showing up in Table of Figures
Hello, I have a Figure style (p.figure) that is autonumbered and used for figure captions. CSS looks like this: p.figure { font-family: 'Univers LT Cyr 45 Light'; color: #000000; font-style: normal; mc-auto-number-position: inside-head; mc-auto-number-offset: 50px; padding-bottom: 1em; text-align: c...

Re: Extra lines in PDF output?
I see, I think. So if I hadn't made an earlier change long ago to the TOCproxy style (assigning the font that you can see in my code sample), the TOCproxy style wouldn't have showed up in text view at all. Correct?

Re: Extra lines in PDF output?
Hello! I was having the same problem - specifically borders were being inserted on frames in my page layout for my TOC and Index, though I had them set to no borders. I figured the problem must be in the TOC and Index Proxy, but if I looked at my .css in the text editor it didn't say anything about ...

CSS autonumbering with cross-references
Hello, I realize this isn't the original purpose of the thread but it seemed closely related, so I thought it might be better than starting a new one. My apologies if it wasn't. I have been using the figure autonumbering formula provided by Flare that Nita refers to here, CF: FIGURE {chapnum}-{n+}:....

Re: How to contact a board administrator?
My apologies if this is a duplicate. I tried to post a reply earlier but have not received the email I usually get that says post is being reviewed. I am having same problem OP was having - I have received a personal message and can't reply to it. I have had 2 posts posted before (the personal messa...

omitting heading numbers from variables
Hi folks, Relatively new Flare user here. I would like to have the chapter title in my footers. I know I can do this by referencing the heading 1 style in a variable - my problem is that the headings are outline numbered (so chapter headings are 1.0 Chapter Name, 2.0 Name etc.) and I don't want to i...

Re: Flare linking to PTC Windchill
Hello, I would very much like to learn more if possible about what DavidSkoglund mentioned, about PTC not using Windchill as a source repository for documentation files. My company wants to move to a content management system for documentation and I am looking into it. Some offices are already using...
