I use Snagit and Capture, have just tried this. As long as an image copied to Clipboard it seems to work for me (Capture 7 and Snagit 2019)

In Capture after taking a screen grab, depending on size of captured image, either the Web size and/or the Print size of image may need to be changed, before inserting into a Flare topic. File properties > Format. If I then change (Web) Screen size, and then change the Print screen size and Click OK...

I don't see a report for "number of topics" but I use the file list for this. Select View > File List and filter for topics. If you then select all items (Ctrl-A) it will show you the total number down the bottom of the screen. Another option is to run a report with both "Topics link...

Almost a year any update on this?
