I am confident I will know how to do it, I just need some info about how to get the style to remove the paragraph spacing. From memory, once published it Word, there is actually a different style...

(forehead slap!) - seems so simple!! I was highlighting the actual nodes - not the text. Out of the highlighted nodes, only one would be 'selected' - and that' node would then get the condition. Thank-you for helping me solve a long standing silly issue! Cheers.
