Re: Indestructible folder
Nita, that's a good observation and I did think about it at first, so I paused OneDrive syncing and when that didn't work, I moved the project completely out of the OneDrive folder into C:/Flare Projects. That didn't help either.

Controlling background image size
Why does this paragraph look like this in PDF preview: Preview.png but like this in the actual PDF, with the background image much larger than it is supposed to be: PDF Output.png Here is the relevant (I think) section of the stylesheet. I write the note and then apply the NotesIcon class to the par...

Indestructible folder
Every other time or so when I try to build PDF output, I get the dreaded "Build Failed" message, because some file or folder in the Output folder is being used by some unknown process. I know it's not Acrobat because I placed some taskkill commands in the target's Pre-Build Event Command w...

For anyone who tries Psider's suggestion for entering the character code, use Alt-X, not Ctrl-X.

Re: Code Snippet window not accessible
Thanks for the input, but it's not a matter of the window being hidden off screen somewhere, it's that the window just doesn't work. Normally, in the Taskbar you can see a snapshot of the window that shows the contents, as in the attached screen shot, and when you select the preview, that window bec...

Code Snippet window not accessible
Am I the only one who sees this? I click on Code Snippet on the Insert ribbon and and all I can see is that there is a new widow opened in the Task bar, behind the Flare icon. But that new window doesn't open when selected from the Task bar. I can't do anything in Flare until I close the Code Snippe...

Re: Reusing a table using conditions
Snippet conditions are awesome. Once I figure out how to make a table a snippet, I'll probably go that route.
Thanks again.
[Apparently one just creates a snippet and then pastes in the table. Easy.]

Re: Reusing a table using conditions
Thanks for the input from both of you (and rob, your second option is what I'm trying to do), much appreciated.
How do I make individual table rows or the whole table into a snippet? Whenever I select either a row or the whole table, the Create Snippet option on the ribbon becomes inactive.

Reusing a table using conditions
I've inherited a PDF-output project. One of the topics has a long table that contains information about Product A, Product B, and Product C. I would like the output to look something like this: Chapter 1: Stuff Chapter 2: More stuff Chapter 3: Product A table Chapter 4: Product B table Chapter 5: Pr...

XML Editor extremely slow in Print Layout, normal in Web Lay
I've been using a new installation of Flare 2022 r3 for about three weeks now. Over the last few days, actions in the XML Editor window have slowed to a crawl. For example, I double-click a word, hit the delete button and it literally takes 10 seconds for anything to happen. This, obviously, makes d...
