It has definitely something to do with the latest version, because everything that was created with the version before is fine.
I have reported this as a bug. Will see what happens.

Re: Snippet Condition in PDF and HTML
Yes, I have doe all that. It did not work, but now it seems to be fine. Can't remember what happened.
I will have to do something similar in a couple of weeks and will try again.
Thanks for the moment, I might need to come back to that topic.

Re: Snippet Condition in PDF and HTML
I think I know what the issue is.
The PDF has a snippet condition on the topic, but the HTML hasn't one. It just has the condition to show Screen and hide Print.
But when thinking about it, why can I not have snippet condition on a conditioned snippet?
If someone could explain that would be much ...

Snippet Condition in PDF and HTML
Happy New Year everyone.
I have a little issue. I want to show a certain information in PDF but not in HTML, but it does not show the way it's planned.
I made screenshots of all my steps so you can see what I did and maybe can follow up where the issue is. I can't see where it is.

Re: Numbering Weirdness - Losing Autonumbering
Thank you. I have noticed, that the points with the correct numbering aren't linked with a topic, and all the ones with the wrong numbering down from 9 are linked. All topic points before are correct, also their sub-topics.
Also I created another TOC with only part of the content and there all ...

Re: Numbering Weirdness - Losing Autonumbering
Okay, I found the answer. It's hidden in the StyleSheet.
The header need to get an entry.
Example for my case would be:
h2.Reference
{
mc-auto-number-format: 'GA:{A}.{n+} ';
}
h3.Reference
{
page-break-before: avoid;
mc-auto-number-format: 'GA:{A}.{n}.{n+} ';
}

Tried to edit my last post, but I get an error message. Therefore my addition here.

Re: Numbering Weirdness - Losing Autonumbering
Here another issue with that autonumbering.
Is it connected to the depth?
Below I think that is as it should be...
Reference E
- E.1
- E.2
- E.3
-- E.3.1
-- E.3.2
- E.4
Any idea what I do wrong here?

Thank you, both.
I created a new project and used the unchanged CSS from the new project to make sure that my CSS was the issue.
Please see attached the screenshot of the print from that test. Looks the same. It must have something to do with Flare interpreting a print from the web browser. As you ...

Re: Big space on top in PDF
Thank you for your reply, but no, I don't have a div class for "breadcrumb", just the MadCap|breadcrumbsProxy with nothing special, see below.

border-bottom-style: none;
margin-bottom: 0px;
margin: 0px;

Big space on top in PDF
Hi,
sorry, I don't know how to explain the following issue. Please see my screenshot.

When I print an individual topic from the HTML it looks like that. It didn't always look like that. I think it started with the last 2023 version. I can't recreate because I remove the old ...

I hope my description will be clear.

Re: Linked TOC not included in PDF
Hi AlexFox,
I found a workaround, but still don't understand why it disappeared in the first place.
The only logical explanation for me is that the cache mixed something up.

Re: File icons with crosses
Thank you, NorthEast. I was looking for that link and couldn't find it.
I was so desperate yesterday, that I made a whole step back and re-did all the work from last week. Stupid I know. But at least the crosses are gone and all looks fine now. Thanks again.

File icons with crosses
I noticed this now a couple of time. When I copy or freshly add snippets or also topic files to a new project, some of the files show a red cross next to the icon. The red tick is understood, but what is with the cross? Please see the attached screenshot. I hope it's something that can be ignored ...

Linked TOC not included in PDF
I had some issues with a topic which wasn't included in the PDF output. I was a bit desperate at some point, so I removed the linked TOC where the problematic was and relinked the TOC. I double checked with another TOC which has also the linked TOC, so that I have everything correct.
But now the ...

Thank you, the moment I read your comment I also noticed the wall in front of me, if you understand what I mean. You are absolutely correct, the htm file is not in the TOC. Doh!!!

Revision History not linked
Hi,
I noticed something strange and wonder if that is by design.
I create an official "What is new in this version" section where I list all the changes. Apart from that I collect the changes also in a file called "RevHistory.htm" and link that in the beginning of the "What is new in this version ...
