Linked TOC not included in PDF

I had some issues with a topic which wasn't included in the PDF output. I was a bit desperate at some point, so I removed the linked TOC where the problematic was and relinked the TOC. I double checked with another TOC which has also the linked TOC, so that I have everything correct. But now the top...

Re: Numbering Weirdness - Losing Autonumbering

May I just continue in this topic instead of opening a new thread? I have something similar. That is the situation. I created a HTML output and for training we also have PDFs per level incl. References. The levels are numbered and the References have "Reference A - " in front of the topic ...

Re: Controlling order for "Related topics" headings

I know it's almost 10 years that someone posted something in this topic. I will just resuscitate it rather than open a new topic with the same question. I hope that is okay. I have the same issue as the original poster. I can see in older documents (from before my time in that job) the order is diff...

Re: Revision History not linked

Thank you, the moment I read your comment I also noticed the wall in front of me, if you understand what I mean. You are absolutely correct, the htm file is not in the TOC. Doh!!!
Thanks again.

Revision History not linked

Hi, I noticed something strange and wonder if that is by design. I create an official "What is new in this version" section where I list all the changes. Apart from that I collect the changes also in a file called "RevHistory.htm" and link that in the beginning of the "What ...

Re: Warnings, Ignored Warnings, and Errors

I know Warnings and Ignored Warnings can be ignored, but the number of Ignored Warnings are counting up and I can't find the reason for that. I would say about me to know how to program HTML, but apparently there is something wrong. Is there any way I could find out what causes these Ignored Warning...

Re: HTLM5 Offline on an Ipad - Progressive Web App?

I had the same question but unfortunately, apart from a link to an article with a dead link to an app, there was nothing more. I think we need to contact Techsupport and see if they have an idea.

Re: Mobile output not working

Hi Nita,

the link is not working anymore. The whole domain is down. I read the article and the comments from other users.
Unfortunately it didn't help much. I will need to look further.

Thank you for your help,

Re: Mobile output not working

Yes well, the issue is our engineers are working quite often in offline environments, so that even an internal webserver (accessible via VPN tunnel) wouldn't be an option. We are moving away from PDF because HTML is more handy when looking for different parts of the document. Since the HTML doesn't ...

Re: Mobile output not working

Is nobody using Flare projects on mobiles/tablets, or does just nobody know the answer to my question? Or is it badly explained? (Sorry for that, English is not my native language).

Mobile output not working

Hi, I have looked around, here, on the MadCap help site and generally on the internet but can't find what I am looking for. So I try it here. At the moment we use HTML output on Desktop for our Flare project, but we also want to have it on tablet/mobile. I tried it and downloaded the output files on...

Re: Two Identically Created Tables Not Outputting Same Size

I found the reason for the tables not being 100% (full-width) but it's still a mystery how this happens when all tables using the same table-style (not table-template, sorry). I created a new topic and entered all the information from the one with the tables not being shown correctly. I applied all ...

Re: Two Identically Created Tables Not Outputting Same Size

I have a similar problem. All tables use the same table-template, but some are full-width and others are not. It looks like it depends on the content, but I want them all full-width, and always was like that, but suddenly I noticed the difference. In Flare itself they are all the same width, but in ...

Re: How do I stop Flare from generating .prop files?

I have a question regarding these .props files. I had to rename lots of image files because the file names were too long, then I noticed all these .props files which were create to some images but not to all. Since I noticed some of these .props files were much bigger than the actual image I deleted...

Re: Relationship table: MadCap |relationshipsHeading

I found the issue. I had a typo in the header of the table in the *.flrtb. Corrected and now the header is shown as expected. But now I have another question in relation with the relationships. I want to have two relationship tables for different revisions with different topics, but since bot...

Re: Relationship table: MadCap |relationshipsHeading

I am not sure if it's accepted to just continue with a similar question, or if you rather see a new topic. By chance I noticed that the relationshipHeading ignores the mc-label styles of my selector. I have created a new selector with the class name "standardprocedures", mc-label should sh...

Re: "Either-Or" condition for relationship tables

I watched the video about conditions in the series "Single-Sourcing" and found a little bit about what I might need in there.
I will try out the Advanced option in the conditions, but might come back and ask question. I would appreciate some help.
Thank you in advance.

"Either-Or" condition for relationship tables

Re: Unlink TOC entries

Thank you.
Yes I wanted a whole rearranging of the TOCs. I asked my other colleague who is also leaving  and she said it was a 10 second thing. A click somewhere to take either a tick off or put one in. But I can't find anything. So I will go the longer way.

The PDF version was divided into several leve...

Re: Print Issue in Flare 2022

I came across the same issue when trying to print out a couple of topics for review on my way home in the bus. Before I found that post here I thought it might have been a browser related issue, since I know that some browsers interpret the print command different than others. But after testing with...
