I did ultimately resolve the issue, turns out that several "SearchPhrase_Chunk" files were missing on the Server that caused certain words to not produce a result. My published site is not displaying search results or the loading icon just keeps spinning for words beginning with U-Z. When I do a local publish the search works fine.
