I ran into the same issue when I was trying to automate my meta tags for a big project. I couldn’t find a way to get the User Name as a direct variable either. What worked for me was creating a macro that pulls the User Name from the settings and inserts it where I needed it.

You can't directly use bookmarks as entries in Flare's TOC, but you can work around it by creating placeholder entries for each subtitle in your TOC and then hyperlinking them to the corresponding bookmarks in your document.
