I had a similar issue with long tables not appearing in PDF and it was caused by my print settings in the stylesheet for the table style. Might be worth checking whether you have the page-break-inside option set to avoid. This is option is located under the Print Support option.

I've come aross an issue with the locate in content explorer button not working when you launch a topic from the Index Explorer and then click the button. Other than that, the locate button seems to work - don't know if that helps any one narrow it down at all?
