Re: Missing "DITAMAP" File in DITA Target
I created a new project and systematically added files from the old project . . . not the best choice but it worked since I am in a time crunch.

Missing "DITAMAP" File in DITA Target
I need to generate my project in DITA. I have created my DITA target but when I build the Project, it fails to create the Ditamap.ditamap file. Everything else looks great. All the topic files compile fine.
Any suggestions? I need help ASAP.

Re: Flare 8 Slow To Start
I'm having the exact same problems Alex mentioned in the first post. Everything in Flare v. 8 seems slow -- including creating new topic files, opening files, viewing tables, etc.

Re: Perforce and Flare
There is a control character on the first line. If you open the file i a text editor, you will see what I'm referring to . . . unfortunately, you will have to open each file and delete the character(s).
Also, go into Perforce and make sre your TOC is the text file type. If it isn't, right-click on ...

Re: Arabic Language Supported in Flare v7?
Good Morning!
When will Flare support Right-to-Left Languages?
We are preparing to release Arabic this year and Hebrew next year and we need to be able to provide documentation.

Re: Arabic Language Supported in Flare v7?
I have the same question. We have Arabic language examples and want the text to appear the way it should in Arabic. Copying and pasting the text into Flare shows the text but backwards.
Is there a setting we can use for pieces of text within a topic?

Re: Perforce and Flare
Please don't turn this into a what software is best debate. I have a serious issue that I need help with -- I need to know if it is a Perforce issue or a Flare issue.
In my experience, documentation is not very highly regarded and no one is going to take my word that Perforce is the problem. I have ...

Re: Perforce and Flare
We use Flare for writing and Perforce for source control. There are a total of seven writers accessing our projects.
As long as the same writer works in the same project, we don't have too many issues between Flare and Perforce. However, we recently lost two of our writers and brought two new ...
