I use WebHelp for my projects. In many of them I have added TOC items that are links to PDFs and other non-xhtml documents. Is there a way to have hits on these items appear in Feedback data (topics)?

Susan, please do me a favor and let me know if everything continues to work (locally and on server). Do you think rebooting the server was the only obstacle, or was it a combination of things? Does search for non-xhtml docs work locally?

Now your results are sounding very close to the ones I get. I have been contacted by a tech support person from MadCap and am waiting for permission from IT to allow MadCap remote access to our network. (I work at a hospital, so security is a big issue.) Thanks for the update.

Yes. I followed the Enabling Output steps carefully. IIS is enabled. However, as I read the instructions, it is not necessary to publish in order to view the local build (MC Preview). Everything looks fine in MC Preview, but the search function does not find the non-XHTML files I need it to.

I am considering merging several projects that have individual license keys for Feedback Server. How would Feedback treat these merged projects? In other words, can I still keep the Feedback data for each project seperate?

I have recently installed Feedback Server. As expected, users are prompted to complete a profile (register) when they first attempt to comment. As expected, the verification arrives in the email.
