We're using a two column table in our headers. One is left aligned and the other is right aligned. When building print documents, the table columns widths in the header are being resized (see the attached image). PDF output looks fine.

Re: Excluding topics from TOC, but including them in mini-TOC
Yes Lisa is correct.
It's too bad Flare doesn't allow more more control over what's in your TOCs. Looks like I'll be adding a bunch of cross references.
Thanks everyone for your input!

Excluding topics from TOC, but including them in mini-TOC
I'm trying to create a customized mini-TOC that includes a list of specific topics. I do not want these topics to appear in the main TOC. Does anyone know of a way to exclude topics from the main TOC, but still include them in a mini-TOC?

Re: Relationship Tables: Filename appears instead of topic title
Actually I just heard from MadCap the other day regarding this issue. Unfortunately it doesn't look like there will be a fix before the next release (so much for an April fix). Here's what Tech Support wrote me:

Re: Relationship Tables: Filename appears instead of topic title
What a terrible request! I also talked to MadCap and I was told that it was a bug in version 6 and that a patch should be out before the end of April correcting this error. In the meantime I'm sticking with version 5 until this has been corrected.

Relationship Tables: Filename appears instead of topic title
I just upgraded to Flare 6 and I noticed that when I compile my Help, all of my relationship table links appear using each topic's filename instead of the topic title. In Flare 5 I never had this issue. Has anyone else encountered this?

Linking relationship tables to PDF files
In Flare I can currently add a PDF (located on our company Web site) as a link in my relationship table by modifying the link in the properties dialog box. Now this is what I want to do, but Flare does not allow me to edit the name of the link that appears in the built Help. The name that Flare uses ...

Re: Linking the Browse Sequence entry to an introductive topic
Hi DoCo, did you ever figure out how to link the browse sequence to a topic? How about changing the icon for the browse sequence entry?
On a side note, I like how in WebHelp a new tab is created for the browse sequence. Too bad you can't do this for HTML Help.

Error building HTML Help
I am currently able to build a project using Web Help, but when I try to build an HTML Help target using the same source files I get this error message:
Internal error: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
Does anyone have an idea what's causing this?

Unable to import from global project
I made some changes to some of the images in my global project using SnagIt this morning. I saved a .snag file, and then saved it as a .png. At sometime during this process, both Flare and SnagIt stopped responding, and I had to reboot my machine. Subsequently, I've been unable to import the global ...

Re: Formatting TOC entries
Thanks Bob. That's a great work around, but I can't see this working for us as we rebuild our Help nightly. Using this work around would involve editing the JavaScript everyday.
It sure would be nice to be able to modify the TOC Entry Hover Color and Selected Topic Color from within the skin editor.

Where or how can I modify the TOC link entries for WebHelp? I can change the font colour, but I'm not able to change the properties for when a link is active, hover, etc.

Need some help adding title of guide to header
I’m creating a series of guides using one Flare project. Just to give you a size of the project, there will be a total of 42 guides being created out of this project. Now the way I want my page headers setup is to have the title of the guide in the header on all even pages.

Back to curly quotes...
You can also use ALT + 0147 to enter an open curly quote and ALT + 0148 to enter a closed curly quote. And let's not forget apostrophes: ALT + 0146

Wow it worked! Thanks Lisa. Pretty neat feature, when you know about it. Although it does seem kinda odd for this check box to be selected by default.

Re: Styles not appearing in Style pane
I'm setting my stylesheet at the project level. I've also tried setting it at both the project level and at the topic level, but that didn't seem to make a difference.
