Laura, thanks for the quick response.
I had not originally done that in the project but set it to h1 and reimported but the appendum still did not become a chapter. I just went back to my Framemaker book and found that I had set is as a different volume. Changed it to be the same volume, imported ...

frame doc which has sections not importing right - resolved
I have a Framemaker book I am importing to Flare. After the main section of the book I have another section which is an Addendum which was defined in Frame as a new section although with different numbering. When I import this to Flare, the Addendum is being appended to my last chapter rather than ...

Re: frame import: PDF file is taking a long time to create
Here it is two years later and I am back with a new project. I am now on Flare 6.1, Framemaker 9 and Acrobat 8 Standard. Still have the same issue with the message "A PDF file is taking a long time to create. Do you want to abort the operation?"

Re: Auto-number formats in Frame aren't retained in Flare
I had this same issue way back with version 3 or 4 which I reported and worked with tech support on.Back then I came up with the same workaround, suppress the autonumbering on all my headings.
I am now on version 6.1 and this issue still exists! I am doing a new project now and would like to use ...

Re: frame import: PDF file is taking a long time to create
Sorry, it has been awhile since I posted this (never received an email that it was replied to).
Still having this problem. Yes some of the graphics do have callouts but I have selected "generate images for anchored frames when needed". Shouldn't this take care of it? Also the error messages ...

frame import: PDF file is taking a long time to create
I have a multi-chapter frame document I am converting into dotnet help. Everytime I reimport the file I get the message "A PDF file is taking a long time to create. Do you want to abort the operation?" What is causing this? I have turned off the option to create a pdf version of the help file.

Re: replacing files during reimport
I have not heard of a patch yet either. I have a large project I need to update in the next couple of weeks and am dreading the process. Between this problem and a few others I have reported, it takes me a solid day to reimport and clean up the mess. If this was all working smoothly it should only ...

Re: replacing files during reimport
The only item in the import folder is the .flimpfm file. Do you mean the content exlorer? I have not tried deleteing them from there. I tried deleting them from the content folder in windows explorer but that did not get rid of the dialog.

replacing files during reimport
I have a very large frame document I am using. Everytime I go to Imports and "reimport" file book, flare pops up a window asking if I want to overwrite files. The window contains over 300 files. I don't know what all has been changed in the frame document so I need to select all these files to be ...
