I am not into CSS.
Is there a way through the user interface (i.e. existing buttons) in a bullet list to indent to a second level where the bullet and the text both indent? When I hit the indent a second time the text moves to the right but the bullet stays aligned to the left.

Re: Scaling images in PDF output?
I know this is an old thread, but I have this same issue with PDF output.
I see the solution from techwriter31, but I am a long time Flare novice.
How do you use the code solution of:

HTML5 skin - green possible?
I would like to change the HTML5 skin to a green color.
I have looked over the various Styles of the skin several times, played with several, but cannot seem to find the correct entries to alter the color.

Re: Easy way to indent a few lines
Thank you for the recommendation.
I have never created a style (I just use buttons on the ribbon for formatting).
I selected Create Style but a name is not allowed to have a period (I entered div.indent).
Could you provide a few more detailed steps?

Easy way to indent a few lines
From time-to-time I need to indent a few lines of text to simulate how text comments would appear in a configuration file. For example:

== the server listens
TCPIP-LISTEN $ZTC0 * 2010
What I have been doing is switching to a fixed font, Courier New, and then using ...

Highlighed items in TOC accumulate under IE10
I just noticed today that running a WebHelp output under IE 10 that clicking on the Table of Contents accumulates highlights. A sample image is attached.

Re: Blockquote, div, fieldset and form for the simple minded
Thanks much for the tips.
I'll double check that nothing is selected and try moving the cursor to various spots within the text the next time Outdent does not work. It has happended enough times that I really suspect a problem with the editor.

why is outdent sometimes, many times for me, grayed out, when I am in an indented state (that was one of the reasons for asking the question in the original post)?

Blockquote, div, fieldset and form for the simple minded
Whenever I push the "Indent items" I am presented with four choices of Blockquote, div, fieldset and form.
I have read the descriptions in the Flare help and realize if all i want to do is "indent", I don't want the 'form' option.
As a standard response, I just push OK and select a blockquote and ...

Indent a table in a topic
I inserted a simple table, 2 colums and 12 rows into a topic.
How do you indent a table?
I can left, right or center it, but I can't seem to select anything that allows the indent button to come live.

Re: Bitmap region is locked
Just received word, reply to a problem report, that this problem is corrected.
Have Flare check for updates. V4.1 SP1 (or is shows up as 4.1.30 in Help / About) has the fixes.

Re: Bitmap region is locked
Well, problem appears to be worse in V 4.1.
Spell checking was fixed (when running under Vista 64-bit), but now PDF is even harder to generate.

Re: Spell check not working in Flare V4
Hi Richard -
Thanks for the answer.
Is this a Flare V5 type of fix, like I should fall back to Flare V3.1 or perhaps to a 32-bit O/S while waiting for the next major upgrade?
Thanks for the answer.

Thanks for the update.

They did say they would pass my files and comments over to developers.

Re: Bitmap region is locked
You might want to check the size of your Windows Paging file (i.e. Virtual Memory).
During PDF generation, Flare takes about 1.4 Gigabytes for my build.
I suspect this amount is dependant on the size of the document.

Well, I found the answer.
In the Properties for the PDF Target, under Printed Output, the option "Use TOC for heading levels" must be checked.

How can I get Bookmarks in the new direct PDF output of Flare V4 to match my Table of Contents?
