Thanks. That answers 1/2 my question.
How about creating a div within a li (yes, a div within an li)? This div will contain several paras and graphics.
I have 1000 of these in my existing document already. They were created ages ago, most editing is currently done in text, but I need to create a ...

Creating a DIV
Ok. I've been using Flare since 1.0 on a 10 year old document so this is a bit embarrassing to be asking.
How do you create a <div></div> with OUT going into text editor? Just using the Flare GUI XML editor?

Re: Link to PDF not displaying in IE
One additional piece of information is that the PDF I'm linking to is a multiple page file. Could that be part of the issue?

Re: Link to PDF not displaying in IE
Every file name in my document uses underscores orhyphens between words and there are no spaces. So that's not it.

Link to PDF not displaying in IE
Flare 11. IE 11.
I tried to use a link to a pdf for the first time.....
I placed a PDF file in resources folder with windows explorer and immediately got a popup in Flare saying install ghostscript. I ignored this warning because my company has major lockdown on SW installs.

Was there a solution for this?
Can you link to an alternate thread? I tried searching. The search feature doesn't do much with "IE"

Re: Different output from WebHelp and HTMLHelp
Sounds like a CSS/path issue. The path to the master CSS may be flawed for the topics in that one project.

Tablet and Phone Platform Publishing
I've been using Flare a long while (since 2.0) and the published output has always been on a PC or laptop. Currently using Flare 7.2.1. Additionally, I am a bit technology illiterate in the tablet and smart phone area. I'm vaguely aware that content on these platforms is displayed differently ...

Conditional Tag Editor Display
Background: I use many (50+) conditions on my project all in one Tag Set (Primary.flcts).
In the past (Flare5 thru current) I opened the Conditional file with a text editor and rearranged them to appear in the sequence I prefer. I grouped them by HW type, SW version, document revision, installed ...

Single skin for entire project.
Yup that was it. Odd it only appeared on those popups associated with topics in a frameset.

CSH or Frameset Issues
I have two projects. One of which suddenly started started displaying a link "Open topic with navigation" the top of some popups that are within a frame set. If I click this link a mini-project opens at the same popup window.

Converting Paras to Headings
I have a series of paragraphs <p> in a topic. I'd like to split them up with some Heading 2 <h2> or Heading 3 <h3>. But when I do a right click Paragraph Class all I see are the othet <p> stlyes in my CSS. Same for the p marker and the blocks area - all I see are the other <p> styles.

Re: User Comments on Documents
Thanks all, I'd like to change the description of what the user is looking for:
They would like to make a "redline" correction that would stay persistant in their copy of the document until they got back to us and we could incoroprate the mark-up in to the next revision.

User Comments on Documents
We use Flare to produce web help documents. These are used in remote locations with no internet access. Our users would like to make an annotation or comment on their Flare document - with feedback when they return 1 month later. I understand they could use any htm editor to make the change but ...
