Ah! That's what I was looking for. Thank you Lisa. I'd been looking in the Table Properties and general style sheet and wondering why my changes weren't having the desired effect.
Thanks again.

Re: Indented tables not keeping "autofit to window" setting
Hi, This is possibly a very stupid question  but re: When we open the TableStyle Editor for the table and look on the General tab, the left table margin is set to 31 pt for our indented tables as we would like it to be. ... How do I access the TableStyle Editor so that I can change the table m...

Images broken in MS Word output when viewed on another pc
Hi, I'm having a very strange problem with the MS Word output. It builds with the images in an images folder and the file as a .doc file. When I view the file on my machine, all looks fine but if I send the same Help file output folder (containing the .doc file and the images folder with the images)...

Re: Lines between TOC books and topics disappear
Phew, one click managed to fix my problem. All I needed to do was deselect the Binary option in the TOC Options and the lines re-appeared in the output. And my topic icons changed back to the way I had them before. I was wondering why my icons had changed and why the lines disappeared. I must have s...

Re: Lines between TOC books and topics disappear
Thanks for all your help Pete. It's the strangest thing; my real project has all the correct settings selected and saved but the lines still don't display. I neglected to check the TOC settings when I created my test project and just created and generated it, thinking the TOC settings were defaulted...

Re: Lines between TOC books and topics disappear
Oh dear, I'm a bit lost... how do I know if my TOC is binary? The only .hhc file I can find is in my Output folder: Output > [ username ] > Temporary > MyHtmlHelp > Content Would I need to send it to you via e-mail? I can't see an upload function in the forum. Please excuse me if I'm being dim...

Lines between TOC books and topics disappear
Hi guys, I've tried everything I can think of but I can't get the lines between the books and topics in my TOC to display. My target is using my Default skin and the Default skin's TOC Options have Lines between items and Lines from root selected but when I build, none of the lines display. Any advi...

Re: Failed to resolve link: filename.pdf
Oh dear! Thanks for the warning.
I currently have the .pdf in my Content folder and only send the .chm to the developers to include in the product install.
Is that embedding the .pdf inside the .chm?

Re: Failed to resolve link: filename.pdf
Oh, that's very strange. I would have thought that if Flare can't find it, the .chm wouldn't be able to.
Okay, if I can ignore it, I shall...
Thank you.
btw, it isn't possible to change the button images in a .chm is it?
Kind regards,

Re: Styles lost when added to project
Oh dear, The broken search function is not linked to moving the .chm. The Search works from within the program, which is using a build I created on my machine before my machine was rebuilt . I've recently had my machine rebuilt and had madcap Flare version 3.1 installed cleanly on my machine. Now no...

Hi all, Thank you for the help. The following worked: our project leader put the chm file in the same folder as the program executable and the styles are fine. Re: Styles lost when added to project
Hi, I'm sorry to tell you that I already know they've included the correct version of the build as it contains new topics that weren't in the old version. replace the CHM that got installed with the one from the Flare output folder and try accessing the help from within the application. Here is what...

Re: Styles lost when added to project
Flare builds .chm and it looks great on my pc and on other pcs, it gets added to the product by a developer and the styles break.
Problem: The developer is adding it in the same way as he did before but this style issue is a new one.

Re: Styles lost when added to project
I'm confused. My machine is the only one building the .chm and the only one with Flare.
Our developers take the .chm I give them and put it into their product build.

Hi, thanks for the responses.
I tried that patch and it worked for one build and then, with the next build, the styles were lost again
And I'm starting to panic now.
