Re: PDF comparison in Acrobat stops with error message

We've never seen that error. We use the Compare files tool in Acrobat without any issues. Here are our settings:

It looks like they use wufoo forms to display the form and collect the data.

Re: Publishing to AWS from Flare

That's what I'm doing. For one project, I have 13 targets that go to separate subdirectories on Amazon S3. We set up the S3 instances as mapped drives on Windows. Each Destination is the directory holding the Help files. In the General tab of the Destination Editor, I put the location under Director...

Our SaaS app is hosted on Amazon S3 and I upload the Helps there as well. Is that what you're talking about?

Re: Forms?

We were looking for Flare to handle this. We decided to look into doing it ourselves. In the end, we went with a web service (Cognito Forms). It wasn't too difficult to create the forms and their service handles the encryption and electronic signatures. For our needs (almost 100 sep. fields), it was...

Re: Mathematics on variables?

Cheers for the reply guys! What we want to achieve is a nice way to integrate documentation and customer quotes. So we want to involve some kind of pricing in Flare. For example: we will have 4 variables for the cost prices of the products and 1 profit margin variable. cost price * profit margin = ...

Possible to remove Top Nav headder for some topics?

I have some image maps in my project. The popups have the top nav header -- Logo, menu icon, search box. and I'd like to remove it just from those topics. I've created a sep. master page for popups, and all it contains is the topic body proxy. This is assigned in the CSS, html.popup under Unclassifi...

We use Camtasia Studio (TechSmith) to record and produce the video. We also use Audacity for the audio and use that audio in the Camtasia Studio project.

Re: Writer Comments

Adding these comments as Annotations would work. Annotations would give you the edit date and creator as well.
You might instead consider using a Style for Comments as well as a Condition. Both suggestions would be visible in the XML editor.

Clear Subversion Server list?

Is it possible to clear the Subversion Server list in Flare?
I'm recording a tutorial on using Flare with our Subversion repos, and I'd like the list to NOT have my existing list in it. It's the list seen here.

For my needs, this is a showstopper. I'd rather remain on 9.x than deal with this. We're coming up on renewals, and will have to give them serious thought.

Is the "workaround" posted somewhere?

Subversion 1.8x *REQUIRED* for Flare 10?

Will Flare 10 work with an existing Subversion 1.7x installation? We have documentation in Subversion 1.7 and hadn't planned on upgrading Subversion until later in the year. Can we use Flare to with the existing setup or MUST we upgrade Subversion?
