Re: How do I turn off the TOC frame?
Ok thanks, that's not an ideal solution but may prove workable for now. Does anyone have any idea if what I am asking is possible? I guess what Flare would be outputting would be just a set of linked web pages rather than a help framework. An alternative would be to use something like Dreamweaver I ...

How do I turn off the TOC frame?
I want to generate some web help that only has the main content frame and no navigation frame, can anyone tell me how to do it? In the Skin Editor Basic tab I've turned off all the features and in the WebHelp Setup tab I've set the navigation frame size to 0 but there doesn't seem to be a way to tur...

Re: Search causing crash in Mac App
If someone could identify a quick fix - even if it is only modifying the generated JavaScript - that would be really helpful because at the moment I have an application going out with a broken help system.
Cheers

Re: Search causing crash in Mac App
Unfortunately I am not out of the woods yet, I have a project created using the empty template. The problem occurs when you open a file directly rather than via the standard frameset. You can include the 'Open topic with navigation' link, but this is linked to the default_csh.htm file (hover over th...

Breadcrumbs are not links
My breadcrumbs are not showing as links in my webhelp file. The source code of a typical page looks like this... <div class="MCBreadcrumbsBox_Breadcrumb"><span class="MCBreadcrumbsPrefix">You are here: </span><span class="MCBreadcrumbsSelf">Section</span><span class=&qu...

Re: Search causing crash in Mac App
This what I mean. It is just a build of the 'empty' project straight after creating it. Searching for 'topic' returns the Topic search item. Clicking it opens the Topic Title page. Clicking the 'Open topic with navigation' link opens up the whole frameset within the RH pane instead of returning to t...

Re: Search causing crash in Mac App
Thanks Lisa - I think you've spotted the error. I've tried creating a new project using both the Application Help template and the Empty template, and the Application one throws an error. Unfortunately the Empty template project throws up a new error - if you build it and then try using a Search the...

Search causing crash in Mac App
We have included a webhelp file in a Mac app. Despite the file appearing to work fine in web browsers on both Windows and Mac, when embedded in the app and using a search it throws a number of errors. The first error was apparently due to a missing filters.xml file. Despite not specifying any filter...

Add meta info to default.htm <head> tag
Is there a way to automatically include meta info into the default.htm file? I know I can edit the output, but this is the kind of thing that can easily be forgotten. I also know that I can edit the default.htm file in C:\Program Files\MadCap Software\MadCap Flare V3\Flare.app\Resources, but again I...
