Can anyone tell me when Mimic 6 is likely to be released? We've had lots of niggles and problems using Mimic 5 (mainly intermittent, but irritating) and I'm wondering how long we may have to wait for the next one.
Thanks.
Juliette.

Re: ERROR - Failed to run command 'Record'
That's great! Thanks for that I'll give it a try.
Did it work for you? I don't suppose they mentioned when v6 was due did they? We had a number of niggles and intermittent issues using v5 - to the point where I'm currently looking at what Camtasia offers!
Cheers,
Juliette.

Re: ERROR - Failed to run command 'Record'
Hi there ccardimon, did you ever get a resolution to this problem?
I had exactly the same issue. Most frustrating to reach the end of your carefully scripted recording only for it to fail. I wondered if you'd have any luck before I raise an issue.

Re: Flare slowing to a crawl after building a PDF
Hi,
No, it's only if I produce printed output (it's the same with building a Word output). I've built an html output and Flare works fine after it.
(Sorry for the delay in response - I've not been around.)

Flare slowing to a crawl after building a PDF
Has anyone experienced an extreme slow down from Flare after building a PDF output?
I find that once I've done a Build PDF, when I come back to Flare it's really unresponsive, taking minutes to re-draw pages and open topics. This is true even if I close down Adobe completely. I'm having to ...

Re: Working with Flare on Vista using TFS 2008
Hi Eddie,
Thanks for this. I ran it past my IS guy (because I'll admit I'm not that techie) and he got quite excited, but asks:
Should this be run on my local machine, or on the TFS server, and
what does <_your AT_> stand for?
He seemed to think this has great potential though!!
Thanks in ...

Re: Working with Flare on Vista using TFS 2008
Hehe - I agree - Vista is sending me NUTS!! Every time I try and do ANYTHING I get a little message asking me to authorise it. I wouldn't have asked it to do it if I wasn't going to authorise it!!! Unforutnately the decision to change to Vista was taken out of my hands.
Anyway, I think you may be ...

Working with Flare on Vista using TFS 2008
Hi,
I've recently changed to Windows Vista (from XP Prof) and upgraded to Team Foundation Server 2008 (from 2005). And now I don't seem to be able to use Flare with the source control element. Whenever I open a project in Flare that is bound to TFS and I choose to get the latest version of the ...

Re: Links to external .CHM with sub-folders
Hi Pete,
Thank you so much for your reply! It's worked. I now have fully functioning links.
I did think I had already tried what you suggested, but when I used your neat trick of finding the correct path directly from the target topic, I realised that I'd added 'Content/' into the path, and that ...

Links to external .CHM with sub-folders
Hi,
I'm trying to create hyperlinks from one topic to another in an external .CHM file.
Both .CHM files are in the same folder.
Some links work, and some don't.
I think I've tracked it down to the fact that the links that work are in the root of the \Content folder in my target .CHM.
