Thanks, Rick. I'll see whether that will be an available option in my environment.

Re: Numbered Lists: indentation and hanging paragraphs
Lisa and Kevin.....thank you both. I'll try those out next.
And Lisa, I really LOVE that tag line in your email signature. May I "borrow it"?

Re: Numbered Lists: indentation and hanging paragraphs
Thanks, but no luck. I've already got the numbering part working fine. (Used to use FrameMaker a while back.)
My problems have primarily to do with alignment and spacing. I need to have each successive level indented differently, and using an appropriate hanging style.
Maybe the issue is that I'm ...

Numbered Lists: indentation and hanging paragraphs
I'm a newbie and this is obviously a newbie question, so thanks for your forbearance.
I've created 4 child classes of the "p" tag: p.Level1 through p.level4 and hope to mimic an existing Word numbering scheme that looks like this:
1. [hanging indent]text
1.1 [hanging indent]text that wraps to ...

Grid Units of Measurement
Is there a way (for those of us in the U.S. whose primary/only target is print-based material) to use a unit of measurement other than pixels for the grid display? I'd even use a calculated fractional number of px, but only whole numbers can be selected. Is there an overall setting for your ...

Frequent Error and Application Crash
I frequently am stopped cold by the following error, which is not predictable by any sequence of events I've noticed. Is this a known issue? Is it advisable to remove the application and reinstall?

Re: Word output: table borders not appearing
Thanks Liz. As a rank newbie I don't really know which I was using, but I'll dig into it. At least I know where to start looking now. I'll let you know when I get to the bottom of it (quite possibly not for a few days).

Word output: table borders not appearing
I needed to use a 4-column, 3-row table that has outer borders only (no interior lines at all). Worked fine in flare, but in my primary target (Word 2007) I do not get any border at all. I could work around it using styles and tabs, but would far prefer using the table.
Is this a known limitation ...

New user not getting table borders in Word output
I created a Table Style and used it in a template. When viewed onscreen in the designer, it looks as it should. (This particular table has outside borders all around, but no interior borders.)
When I generate Word output the table has no borders at all. Is this perhaps a known issue? And is there a ...
