Hi,
I added these lines to the bottom of my project's stylesheet, modifying the attributes as required. Now the MadBuild and the Flare Build match.

Re: WebHelp Output Different Depending on How Help is Built
I have seen the same type of problem with the MCTextPopUp style: Bolded when generated by MadBuild, but non-bolded when generated from the Flare UI. I've been poking around like crazy with no good clues. Were you able to get any insight into this?

Import table class is always "Default"
Hi,
I'm using Flare 3.1. When I import from FrameMaker, all tables in the end up with Class=Default, despite their being uniquely tagged in FrameMaker and there being a corresponding table style in my CSS. After the import, I can pick the correct table style in Flare, but I don't believe I should ...

Re: On some topics, window opens below breadcrumbs
Nope, wrong again. Now I see what's going on. If the entire content PLUS the breadcrumbs fits in the help window, the window opens at 0,0. If not, it opens scrolled to the heading in the TOC. So the question still is, how do I force the window to open at the top?
Thanks,
Mark
Thanks,
Mark

Re: On some topics, window opens below breadcrumbs
Kevin,
The problem really seems random. In some cases, the topic that opens below the breadcrumbs is a book; in others, it's not.
Interestingly, paging through the entire TOCs of my test project just now, I noticed that at least one page does not open anywhere near the top of page. For comparison ...

On some topics, window opens below breadcrumbs
Hi,
Although I can't see a pattern, some topics open such that the user must scroll up to view the breadcrumbs. Most are fine. Any ideas on how to insure the help window opens at the top?
Thanks,
Mark

Defining two-part appendix numbers
Hi,
I'm using two-part page numbering in a document. Most entries in the TOC reference page use <$chapnum>-<$pagenum>, but I can't figure out how to create a definition for Appendix pages in the TOC. <$appnum> doesn't seem to work. <A> doesn't seem to work. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Mark

Importing Topic Titles
When I import my FrameMaker project, some Topic Titles (as seen in the Topic Properties dialog) are blank and some are set to the heading of the topic. One result of this behavior shows up in breadcrumbs. It appears that if the Topic Title is blank, the filename is used in the breadcrumb. Since ...

Command Line import
Hi,
Anyone know of a a way to do just the import portion of the build from the command line? (Special parameters to MadBuild, perhaps?)
Thanks,
Mark

Setting the style for DropDown hotspots
Hi,
I'm trying to change the font style of the dropdown hotspot. I would have thought that it was the MadCap.css in the \skinsupport folder for the target, but that doesnt' seem to work. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Mark

Flare can't find Frame
Hi,
I'm moving to a new machine, installed Flare 3.1.0 (10/9/2007), installed Frame 7.1 and updated it to 8.0.p277, removed Frame 7.1, and Flare can't find Frame. I don't see anything on the Flare menus that tells it where Frame is supposed to be, so I'm guessing it a registry setting. Anyone know ...

Re: Using MadCap.css and MadCap*.js files
I'd like to be able to import a FrameMaker file and map FrameMaker styles to those in MadCap.css. I understand how Flare includes MadCap.css and the MadCap*.js files automatically if I'm creating topics in Flare, but not if I'm importing them from Frame. My goal would be to have the import and ...

Using MadCap.css and MadCap*.js files
I think I'm missing something here. How can I use the styles and js functions that ship with Flare in MadCap.css and the MadCap .js files if I'm importing a project from Frame?

Re: Unwanted underline in xref's
Nope. The "_Override" class is not something that I put in manually or through Frame. It seems to have appeared after compiling with Flare. HOWEVER... now it's gone and the cross-references are working as I'd expect. Inexplicable, but happy ending. Thanks.

Unwanted underline in xref's
Each xref in the generated .htm's are preceded by <span class="_Override" style="text-decoration: underline;"> and the <\span> isn't inserted until the end of the sentence. This results in an underline from the first occurrence of an xref in the sentence to the end of the sentence. Anyone know why ...
