Does anyone here have experience implementing the jQuery UI in Flare? I'm specifically looking for how to implement tabbed content. I have the code written ...and the links to the jquery ui css and the .js file - but nothing is happening.
Anyone?

Re: Flare v6.1 and PDF Output
I talked with MadCap tech support on Friday about this. Luckily, I was able to reproduce the problem while Alvaro was watching my screen.
Anyway, he solved the problem by clicking Save All prior to building/viewing the output. It worked like a charm. This was done, of course, in addition to ...

Lisa,
I wish it was that simple. :)
Yes, I've had this happen off and on every so often....but since v6.1, it's been a real pain. Closing Flare and reopening doesn't do it...I now have to reboot my machine completely.

Flare v6.1 and PDF Output
Hi all,
I installed Flare v6.1 Wednesday, had a number of issues yesterday (install error and subsequent uninstall of v6 and reinstall of v6.1) - and today, I'm dead in the water regarding Flare output to PDF.

Hi.

Dave,
You rock! All this time I've been using Flare and I learned something new today. Thanks for the tip on Topic Properties.

Re: Best way to distribute Mimic movies?
We had a big debate about this in my office. We had to build an output that didn't require any installation of any kind because the military computers that were going to show the movies did not allow any downloads or installs at all.
The only option was Flash. And so far, it's worked well. We ...

Audio on mouse trajectory
Hi all...
I'm knee deep in mimic movies and have a question. We're building lessons using automatic record with the mouse movements not recorded. We then go back and add them back in manually.

Re: Network error mesage
I'm getting this same error on my laptop at the office. I'm not using VPN or anything. While I can hit OK and continue using Flare - I would like to know how to tweak my system so this message goes away.
I'm also getting this error in Capture and Analyzer.
Suggestions?

Hey!
Maybe I'm beating a dead horse here - and I apologize in advance if I am.
Here's the thing - I have this project that I imported from RH. It's UGLY and I'm trying to make it less so.

Thanks to both of you!
I'm finding a TON of inline styles - look like holdovers from RH or someone who created the help system didn't really understand the concept of a stylesheet.
Thanks again!

CSS Message Keeps Popping Up
Hello all!
I'm working in a project that I imported from RH and I'm working through a bunch of stuff. Every time I go to a new topic, the message box open with this error:
"CSS: Invalid background-color: BG Popup"
Problem is - I did a search for BG Popup in the stylesheet and didn't find this. I ...

Re: Bullet Alignment Question
Laura,
Thanks for your input. You are correct - I should have set the list-style-position to 'outside' instead of 'inside.' Ryan, one of Flare's tech support Rock Stars   , explained it this way:

Bullet Alignment Question
I'm embarrassed to ask question - because I should know it - just having a senior moment.
How do I get the 2nd line of a bulleted item to align with the text in the first line? Right now, the text on the 2nd line is aligned with the bullet - and I don't want it that way.

Re: Source Safe question
I am getting this error with VSS 2005. My coworkers are NOT getting the error. I'm the one who bound the project to VSS. I'll have to try asking them to bind a project to VSS and see if they get the error and I don't next time.

OK - I figured out the problem!
Background - I'm in a remote office, away from the servers/network - so I have to log in to my local network, then log in to the main network to access the VSS dbs. We thought that may be a problem.

What version of VSS are you running? Are you getting the error frequently or only during certain actions?
I'm trying to figure out if it's a version thing or maybe a setting thing on my end.
