Custom toolbar button or link to close Help window

I'm delivering Mobile WebHelp for two HTML5 applications. I'd like to be able to have a button or link on the topic toolbar that closes the Help browser window and returns the user to the main app. Any ideas?

Re: How to use CSH alias when subprojects are merged via TOC?

Yes, Support found the same thing with my projects. I had several skins in the core project (one for each product target so that I could change the title) and that was causing the CSH issue with the subproject. I went back to using one skin in the core project and now CSH works for the subproject.

Re: How to use CSH alias when subprojects are merged via TOC?

I'm wondering if Hans got this issue resolved because I'm having the same issue. I have a subproject merged into a master project via the TOC and the CSH calls to the subproject do not work. We are planning to do several more subprojects merged into a master project so really need this to work. I ...

Re: Changing Dropdown to h when printing WebHelp page

It's the end of the year, so very quiet here at work. I was catching up on the forum as I haven't had time lately. Read this post about printing the steps for dropdowns, tried it, and it works great! Re: Best approach for Webhelp and PDF from a single source

I agree with royj's approach: analyze your content first. Then, look at what will be online content (if that is your largest need) and then printed content. The source files we started with came from online Help in RoboHelp. Then, over time, moving from RoboHelp to Flare, we created our printed ...

Re: WebHelp not displayed in IE7

We spoke with Ryan in MadCap tech support this morning. He had a few suggestions, such as also deploy an HTML help or launch Adobe Air Help. Our issue is that on a server OS, using IE, in some cases, users are prompted to add the about:internet site and in some cases, no prompt is seen. You just get ...

Re: WebHelp not displayed in IE7

We are seeing this, too, on a Server OS only. I have MOTW enabled for all Web Help deliverables. When our application is installed on a Server OS, such as Windows Server 2003 R2, SP2 or Windows Server 2008 SP2, using IE 7.0, Web Help displays a blank page.

We’re using MOTW so help doesn’t ...
