Re: Autonumbered list and x-refs

Thanks, Ron T. It's a miracle. I never would have figured that out. I tried many things like negative para indents, etc. Your solution worked and even 18pts was good for me.

Right. Thanks.
And of course, the less elegant method, putting both commands in the Help drop-down menu and have the customer choose.

Re: .CHM deprecated?

I am interested in what Dave Lee had to say: ... HTML5 help (which works fine locally or on a server)

How is that done?! If the Help menu points to a company web server hosting the Web-Help, how can it open locally if the internet is not connected/available?

We have an application that customers ...

Re: Crossref doesn't display in HTML5 target

This has been changed to a Feature Request.
I have been informed that there is a difference between a style with with Paragraph numbers (paranums) set and an ordered list style <li>.
Cross references currently only work with the former.

Re: Crossref doesn't display in HTML5 target

Yes, Marjorie, it is similar to HKNIX's post.
The <li> step number appears and is a hyperlink in the PDF output, but no number/link appears in the HTML5 output. (Flare 10)
Sounds like it might be a Flare bug.

Crossref doesn't display in HTML5 target

I've used a cross-reference to a bookmarked step <li> with (paranumonly) set. It works fine in the PDF output but nothing displays in the HTML5 output. In the style sheet, the MadCap|xref for this particular class is set the same for print and non-print (and default). I am missing something? Do ...

Font color is not black in PDF Output

Unless I specify a color in the CSS for the Print medium , the PDF is produced with gray text. When I changed the P tag to black, it changed to black in the PDF. But now it looks like I must do it for the Li, and headings, and all styles that I've haven't set a color to. (The font color in the ...

Home Button in HTML5 Tablet Medium --link?

My new Home button doesn't link to anywhere.
In the Skin Editor, with Tablet Medium selected, I've added a home button in the STYLES section. The icon image shows up on the Navigation slideout in the output but doesnt do anything. How do I link it to my home topic?

Thanks,
Roger

Image class not listed in Style Class dropdown menu

I created a new imgage class called img.GreenBorder. It shows up in my CSS but not in the dropdown menu when I right-click the image. There are other image classes that appear, I can select them, and the effects display. Just not the new one. (The others were created in Flare 8 or earlier.)
I can ...

My Back Buttons Says Forward

On my Webhelp output, my back button tooltip says Forward. The image points back and indeed it takes me back to the last topic.
It's true in both IE and Firefox.

Is this a bug? Anyone else see this?

Browse Sequence Next & Previous aren't working

There must be a way to do this in chm Help.
I want the Next and Previous buttons to work in the main toolbar. They are there but disabled whether I open a topic in the TOC or in the Browse Sequence book (within the TOC).

They are disabled whether I set the skin to Automatically Synchronize the ...

Re: Is there way to break all topic links to global project

Thanks, NIta.

Is there way to break all topic links to global project

Can I break topic links to my global project all at once? That is, can I globally break the links between the Source project and all topics in my child project? Or all topics in the same folder in my Child project?
