I'm trying this with a simple test doc and can't get it to work.

1. Create a Word 2007 doc called "test1.docx." This doc contains six lines: a line of text with a paragraph style, followed by a line of text with a character style, followed by the same repeated two more times.

I want to start backing up my Flare projects to source control, and the two systems available at my company are Perforce and CVS. The IT folks tell me Perforce is superior, but I've read elsewhere in the forums that it doesn't play well with Flare.

Any suggestions? Tips on making Flare work well ...

I ran into the same thing today. I called MadCap and was told that Flare won't generate a PDF that includes all the content from merged projects (and the compiler error messages bear this out).
