Who is using X-edit? and other questions
Hi Folks, We are experimenting with using Xedit in our review process and are encouraged, though not sold on it yet. I would like to pose a few questions and see if the forum has some experiences/insight/wisdom to share. Who in your company is using Xedit? Are they reviewers, content SMEs or other t...

Breaks in Table Borders in Print Output
Has anyone had this problem before - note the breaks in the table borders.
All of my cell paddings are set to 0. My cell borders are collapsed. What other settings could be affecting this?
Output is a Word target.

Re: Expand previously expanded drop-downs when user clicks Back?
Has anyone come up with a solution for this? I didn't immediatly see any other similar posts. I also need my users to click a link from within a drop-down, and then be able to click back into the same place into the expanded drop-down.

Re: Where to set cell padding - Table Styles or regular CSS?
Lisa, I finally got a chance to try this (meaning the phrase "complex selector" scared me and so I procrastinated), and it worked. And was a lot simpler than I thought. The one thing I noticed, though, is that viewing a topic with tables in preview takes a lot longer now - I'm guessing bec...

Re: Where to set cell padding - Table Styles or regular CSS?
Nevermind - this didn't work after all. If I add padding to the cell, then anything I type in the <td> tag lines up correctly, but as soon as I do a carriage return in the cell, everything goes to a <p> tag, and it adds the <td> padding to the <p> padding, and so everything is still skewed if I have...

Re: Where to set cell padding - Table Styles or regular CSS?
I figured it out! I opened the Table Style sheet in my text editor and set the padding in all of the Body row settings.
I love how this forum helps me to help myself.

Where to set cell padding - Table Styles or regular CSS?
Hi All - If I set the cell padding in my Table Style sheet, it looks great on the table rows, but not the header. The header is set to Center, but with cell padding on both the right and left, the header text pushes slightly to the right. If I remove the cell padding, the header centers, but the tab...

Applying a Class inside Javascript
Hello - I have been trying to encorporate the script example in the KB document GEN1013-F Adding an Email Link to Every Page in your Output into my new Flare HTML Help template, and discovered this issue with the last line of the script: document.write ("<a href="+ docfdbk_a + docfdbk_b + ...

Can I print out a style sheet?
Is there any way to print out a list of all of the settings in a style sheet? I am creating a fresh style sheet for our new documentation season, and we have two or three style sheets that we used last year. I would like to lay out the settings for each style sheet side-by-side. If I can compare the...
