Re: Installation-side compiling
Wow, thanks for the fast reply! I see that you are able to set up links between 2 separate help projects and merging projects; however, is it possible to configure a Table of Contents, Index, and Search to work for only those applicable software applications installed?
For instance, if I wrote the ...

This may be a crystal ball-type topic, but I thought I'd ask.
We have a large suite of programs (12 or so), and we're using a central webhelp system to manage the context-sensitive help for all of them. It's fast, comprehensive, and works great.

Such a thing might be useful for companies that make software ...

Re: User Defined Content
Can you say a word or two about the solution you have found? We're interested in doing some similar things, and Feedback Server (though powerful) doesn't seem like the solution.

Re: User Editable Help
Has anyone tried the wiki approach? Has anyone used or experimented with a way to create a wiki out of Flare output?

Re: User Editable Help
Thanks for the prompt reply, royj.
Was your plan to help them develop their own HTML files to merge with your Flare-produced content? Did your kit allow for the editing of existing content? What can you tell me about your approach?
Would you prefer to do this off-board?
Any and all info would be ...

Re: User Editable Help
If it's all right with you, Royj, I'd love to contact you about the same thing. We're converting to an on-line only help system for a product that sometimes undergoes modifications in the enterprise, and our partners are accustomed to producing paper appendices for the user guides. Since that will ...
