Thanks for the replies folks!
Sarah - that software looks interesting and is certainly priced competitively. Can you keep me posted about any findings you have from it?
Paulie - You're right that maybe I should get our IT involved to make something for me (unsurprisingly they're very busy!). The ...

Creating a folder containing only new / changed files
Hi, bit of a complicated question to ask - which is why I can't find it in the search. I hope you can understand what I'm trying to achieve!
I have written a large HTML5 project (approx 250MB). This is being sent out on CD to install on servers in locations with poor internet access. Our IT has ...

Re: Inserting a search proxy inside an image
Sorry, I don't think my response fully conveys my gratitude. It works perfectly! Sadly, I've not got much knowledge of HTML so I'd never have thought in a million years of doing that.
Thanks again

Inserting a search proxy inside an image
Hi guys,
I've trawled on this forum and Google for the answer to this (it's probably very simple but then again so am I).
I would like the home page of my help system (generated using Topnav HTML5) to have a nice image with a search proxy inserted into it. I've seen this in lots of sites, and I ...

Re: Adding Mp4 videos to play in Help topics
Can you put the video inside drop-down text or a topic linked as a popup?
Ah. Never thought about that! I tried the pop up option but it didn't look that great, but as you suggested, I put the video into a "Show Me" drop-down and added a bookmark, then assigned the book mark to the video preview ...

Adding Mp4 videos to play in Help topics
Hi,
In Flare 12, I'm trying to add a wee "play video" image appear in a topic. When the user clicks it, it expands to play an mp4 video.
I've tried a couple of different ways of doing this and neither works exactly how I want to do it.

Re: Topics show up twice in search results
I had this problem in a project a few years back, albeit in an older version of Flare (can't remember the number).
Every time I changed a topic, the previous version was saved as a .bak file and these were all ending up in the project.

Re: Create a topic link that includes nav frames in webhelp?
Apologies for reviving an old thread, but I'm tearing my hair out about this. After much wailing and gnashing of teeth, I've managed to display the sub-topic alongside the default menu on the left (the reason I couldn't get it working was I was specifying the path to the Content folder when it ...
