Thanks Dave.
My TOC is on the left side, so it's a Side Nav skin, I believe. In the Skin Editor, the Fixed Header is set to All. I tried the other option, Web, but didn't see any difference in the output.
Good idea to check the code.

Unnecessary vertical scrollbar on HTML5 Help topics
Hello,
I understand why there would be a vertical scroll bar for topics when the content won't all fit on the screen. But my Help system has an unnecessary vertical scrollbar on all my HTML5 Help topics, even short ones.

Re: Flare and Docs-as-Code
Thanks. My goal is to reduce the delay between pushing changes to the Help and the changes displaying on a site where QA can review. Rather than involving markup or trying to build on a server, I can probably accomplish this via streamlined approval process.

Flare and Docs-as-Code
Hello all.
It seems that a lot of writers now take a docs-as-code approach where they write the docs in a text editor, compile using a static site generator (like Jekyll) and publish to a company server. I'm wondering is anyone has experience implementing the docs-as-code concept and how Flare ...

Re: New to Flare - Top nav with side menu proxy
The hierarchy of the side menu of a HTML5 Help system corresponds to the hierarchy of the target's TOC. Maybe I'm not understanding the issue, though. Can you attach a screenshot of what's going wrong?

PDFs in Search Results
Hello,
I have a PDF in my Top Nav Help TOC. I want users to be able to search for the PDF name and find it in Search Results. Is there anyway to do this? I don't want to search the contents of the PDF, just the file name.
Thanks.

Can you change ''All Files" label in a search filter?
When users use a search filter in the Top Navigation Help, I want them to be able to select ''All Topics" instead of "All Files".
But I can't find where to change this label. I can't change it in the Search Filter Editor.
Any ideas? Thanks.

Re: using variables - best practice
The best practice seems to be to insert variables as you write, including a product name variable. I'll start typing the product name and a popup displays to insert the variable. Then it's done and I don't have to deal with the variable anymore, other than to change the definition if I need to ...

Re: how do I format the print version of a web page output
Is it common for your users to generate a paper version a Help topic? Since you're already providing a PDF version, wouldn't that suffice? If they want to, couldn't they just print pages from the PDFs? Just wondering if this is an issue worth spending your time solving.

Hmmm...
And you're doing this in the Skin Editor > Styles > Header > Logo > Background section, right?
A PNG should work in theory. My image header logo is a JPG and works fine so maybe try saving the image as a JPG and see if that works.

The Menu section of Single Topic skin dictates how the menus display. But I don't see an option for drop shadows. That would be a nice feature, though.

Re: Top Navigation- Advance - Replace Menu Arrows
Hi Craig,
I think it's the Bullet1.png file in the Images folder for top navigation. Maybe create a backup of Bullet1.png, rename the new image Bullet1.png, generate and see what happens. If it doesn't work, just replace the Bullet1.png in the Images folder with the backup.
