You could always try swapping to the Text Editor and copying the path from there.
that does not do it. In the text editor it's presented with forward slashes. I need the path in normal convention, i.e. c:\users\jesse\help\. I get the same type of path with forward slashes when I go to the ...

copying and pasting the Image location and file name
Hi,
I just recently upgraded to Flare V11. Prior the this update I am pretty sure I was able to right click an image, go to properties and then easily select the entire path of the image (path and file name) and then copy it. Now I don;t seem to have this option any more. I have taken about a year ...

Display Table of Contents when going to Direct Link of Page
Hey guys,
When you go directly to a page, instead of getting to it from the TOC or via a search, the page opens without the TOC. Is there a way around this?
For example, click the following link and there is no TOC. (note, this is not my page..I found it in the "Flare in Action" thread Thanks ...

I have added script to the header section of the Master page. This code shows up on all pages but the Default. Instead, on the Default page madcap's own script takes it place. Is there anyway for this not to happen?

I filed a bug report. There is a bug with the Cross Reference Resolver. In other words, the output seems to be OK. It just gives bad errors.

Here's some more info..
With this particular project, it only happens when I override the defualt file type and make it "aspx". (In case anyone is wondering, this setting gets set in the Target file in the Advanced section.)

Re: Invalid Cross Referenced Files in APSX output only.
Use the default .htm extension? I don't see any reason why the file extension needs to be changed. I am assuming that you need the change to make ASP code to get interpreted. What you should be able to do is configure IIS to pull every .htm/.html file through the interpreter. That results in a ...

Set project to use a different default medium
Hi,
I consider myself yo be pretty darn good at using Flare now, except I can't figure out how to set my project to default to a different medium in the XML editor. It's annoying constantly having to change the medium.. Can someone fill me in?
Thanks
Jesse

Re: Globally Add informaiton to the Head Tag?
Easiest thing would be to create a masterpage and manually enter the code you want into the <head> tag of the masterpage. Set the target to use that masterpage and it'll be applied to all topics at compile time. So you won't see it in the XML Editor, but you might see it in the Preview (depending ...

How are you applying the span tag? is this happening in a new topic?
I click and drag to highlight the text. I then click the span tag from the styles list on the right side.
