How do I define which element/paragraph is going to be there when I press enter?

For example, I have an element called p.no_margin when I press enter, I want it to be a p.no_margin, but Flare gives me a standard p.

Thanks for the help! I guess the best approach is to have the CSH calls go to a single topic. Unfortunately, I'm not using an alias file - would be nice!!

Currently, I don't have both topics in the TOC, but in order to make the TOC sync, regardless of the spot in the app from where the CSH is called, both would have to be in the TOC and the organization of the TOC and app is such that they would follow one another...

If I could have one of the topics ...

I'm using CSH in WebHelp, and have two different spots in the application that have the exact same help. Initially there was no problem because I had two different topics that used a single snippet to supply the content for both topics. The problem comes in with synching the TOC. Unless I put both ...

I found the problem... the MadCapAll.js is where the "real" entries are. Search for gCurrSelection.style.backgroundColor to change the selected background color, and TocEntryOnmouseover to change the hover color. Just curious as to why they have the same thing in so many places...?? It doesn't seem ...

I changed the entry in both versions (4 and 5) of MadCapToc.js. Cleaned the project (tried that earlier, along with restarting Flare, and rebooting...), restarted Flare again, and still no luck. I also made sure that the hover color in the Toc.htm matched what I chose in the .js file. Does this work ...

Thanks, I tried it and it didn't work... I tried deleting all internet files, cookies, etc. still no luck. Perhaps it's Monday!!??

I tried changing the colors in the MadCapToc.js per the knowledge base article, and it doesn't seem to work. Any idea as to what I might be doing, or not doing?

Actually, I asked for the p paragraph to be inserted because I didn't know you could modify the p in the tablestyle sheet. Either way, I'm a happy camper - thanks to both of you! (Except for not really being able to use the Flare editor without loosing all the manual edits.)

That is exactly what I wanted!! Thanks.

The only problem I encountered is that when I made the changes in the table stylesheet .css, then opened the css in the Flare tablestyle editor, made some changes... it wiped out all the manual changes I made. So, now I have a backup in case I forget!

When a table is inserted, the default cell style is <td> or <th>. If you press Enter in a cell, it changes to <p>. Slightly annoying :roll: because, if the td or th is different than p (it is in my case) you have to go through the entire table, press enter, then backspace to make all the cells the ...

In my TOC I do not have any files linked to any of the Books. That is to allow a user to open a book in the TOC without changing topics in the view area. I do have "overview" topics that would normally be linked to the Book, and want to put a mini-TOC proxy in that file that would list the topics ...

1. Put a line at the bottom of the topic.
2. Below the line put an h6 with an unused numbering scheme (F:{sup}{n+}{sup/}) or however you want to set it up. (Hopefully, I'll never have to use an h6)

I did that, but then realized that only the first footnote would be linked and have the popup note. Do you know of a way to have the footnotes display at the bottom of a topic in generated WebHelp output? If I could do that, I could make the "real" footnote not appear as a link, and ...

I have several places in a table where I need to use the same footnote. Adding multiple footnotes just repeats the footnote with different numbers at the bottom of the topic. I tried cross-references. Even tried reading the help...
