Sometimes rebooting the computer does the trick. That has worked when I have had this problem, but have no idea what causes it.

I know the logo can be deleted, but am unsure if it can be moved.

Which output are you wanting to do this for?

My original import was back in 2009 so I do not want to reimport but will at some time think about unformatting. I do not want to loose all the work I have done since then.

I would also love an answer for this, as I have had these span tags since I imported Word documents into Flare 5 back in 2009. I always just left them there as although they are a nuisance, it does not hurt the output.

My update when so fast that I never saw a dialog saying there might be a delay. It did, however, make me enter my license information and register all over again.

Apparently this whole time I thought I was using the latest version. Instead I am back on version 3.0.16. OOPS! I must get on to installing the updates. At least I'm on Madcap 7

Can you give more information as to what you are referring to? I have not noticed this change between versions. Thanks.

I prefer importing because it automatically updates each file upon new build, so I do not have to remember to update each child file when I update the parent file.

That is a security setting in Windows 7. The User Account Control Setting in the Control Panel needs to be set to "Never Notify" if you do not want these messages.

I agree that having the entire flare project integrated to Source Control is the way to go. When I update images, I just check out the resources folder and save a new image. The new image automatically updates within Flare. So easy.

The only way I know of is to download a CHM reader to the browser. This would not work if you have clients who will be opening the files on their own computers.

You would use the size tab in the skin editor.

I use the parent-child method where each of my child projects automatically import the stylesheet on build. They stay linked so you only have to change the parent.

For single sourcing, how do you change the hyperlinking between .chm files to be cross references in print output? I have 23 separate .chm files and I hyperlink to reference between them. I am suddenly having the same issue using HTMLHelp embedded within the software. It is not popping up to the index topic as it used to.

I have 23 chapters and the software calls up the chapters individually. Before Flare 8, the html help would open directly to a topic as long as it had a listing in the index for the specified chapter. Now with Flare 8, it appears it is searching all chapters before it calls up the index. Anyone else...

I have an image and caption inside a div and would like the caption to not break in the middle. I need to have the Divs break so that is not an option.
